No baby changing room at this store. Apparently it is a small one. The store is on 3 levels. You can change your baby in the general toilets next to the sinks, but at front of everyone that comes to use the toilet. Why? No privacy at all!!!!!!
Food is often short dated and the options are limited compared to other branches, like London for example where the food is often much fresher. It's possibly because M&S's Brentwood branch is classified as an "outlet" (check receipts), but it seems to me that M&S hold the people of Brentwood in contempt. I would ask the management to show some respect and do better!
About 3 years ago I stopped shopping here, it was a struggle to find clean organic decent meats, fruits and the most difficult to find snacks for my children. I recently had a look and they’ve started to sell clean extra virgin olive oil and potato pure crisps. I feel that they’re awakening to the times where they realise we need cleaner supplies and they’re paying attention! I’m thrilled with this & looking forward to seeing more clean pure items without chemicals. No SEED OILS, EMULSIFIERS, PARABENS, CHEMICALS, GLUTENS, SWEETENERS!!!
The women’s wear department in this store has grown from strength to strength in recent months with huge improvements. The clothing selection is great, with plenty of choice for all age groups and featuring key pieces promoted online and in print. The layout is so much better too, with professional displays and inspirational ideas. Looks far from boring these days and as fast as pieces arrive they sell out. Well done M and S! You’re back on the map again!
I absolutely love Marks and Spencers. I live their choise of cheeses, cured meats and fresh fruit and veggies. I believe it is the best from all the supermarkets in my area. The sourdough bread is a hit, and the sweets isle is by far the best. Love it.
Visit often normally really nice but today was bad. Ordered a breakfast wrap but inside was very cold, outside piping hot. The staff seemed very rushed today ; should have stuck to Costa!
Initial review 23/12/22 had a Christmas turkey booked for collection tonight. we have to take my mother in law to A and E. so contacted the brentwood store to ask can they hold it till tomorrow. but told no. they can't hold it and we can't have a refund. is the no hold a company/ store or floor policy? for a company that used to pride itself on the customer experience this is absolutely abysmal. Update. 24/12/22 Spoke to different departments of marks and Spencer today and issue has been resolved. Head office has apologised for yesterday's treatment and are looking into the phone calls to see if there has been an issue with the staff that may need retraining. Had two calls from the store itself. A call from Dylan was very helpful. His job is to call all non collections to find if there is an issue that needs resolving on non collections and he said that if they knew about an issue they are more than happy to hold over an order and it is available if we can come and collect ,we are heading back to the hospital so not possible, but the offer was nice. We then had a call from the duty manager who has offered to drop it off on her way home as she lives is this direction. Which was a very kind offer. Overall a brilliant recovery by the staff at the branch to offset the ignorance of somebody at the end of a phone who couldn't be bothered. Many thanks to staff at Brentwood m&s
Very poor experience in cafe at Brentwood. Surly unhelpful staff. You have to get toasties yourself and don't have items displayed on board. Used to be very pleasant.
