Was singled out, threatened with removal from the flight and verbally harassed by a member of the team for traveling with people who look different from myself (assumed I was carrying objects for people I didn't know). Disgraceful
Just like to thank all the Swissport staff at Belfast International. Having missed the original bagdrop for a two hour delayed flight, easyJet staff told us we couldn't check our bag and would have to re-book on the next flight. Swissport staff told us we absolutely could still check our bag for our original flight and then proceeded to do something without fuss. Many thanks Swissport folk.
Landed 16 Nov 23 20.00hrs George Best Airport Belfast Shanghai..Heathrow..Belfast No baggage. Contacted Bill, Swissport. Very professional, took all details and explained that because of the very short time between the two flights our baggage could not be loaded. Explained that our baggage would be on the next BA flight and it would be delivered by courier to you address tomorrow. It arrived as promised. I hope Swissport knows the quality of the person Bill is. Professional, courtious, prepared to hold a sensible conversation and helpful. Old fashioned helpfulness many thanks for removing a pile of stress after a very long journey.
Terrible service. Zero stars actually. I needed to get ahold of Swissport at another airport to have them not deliver a bag at an address I was no longer at (after a week of it missing). Staff at Belfast said they did n’t have numbers for other Swissport locations & I could Google it, which I did. The # didn’t work of course & when I asked for help the shift supervisor Ryan said he couldn’t help because he was “working a shift.” Isn’t working a shift helping Swissport customers? Or taking initiative to have the correct numbers of nearby Swissport offices at hand? Is this some sort of bizarre employment scheme for the challenged?Why does Aer Lingus et al contract with this terrible company?
Staff are extremely rude and no respect. Polish Supervisor working 13/07/23 at around 7pm needs to be sacked the way she speaks to the customers.
Staff are a disgrace no help at all young man just give me and my partner abuse and refused to give us his details and not a person about the place to report him Belfast city airport!
Great little airport in a very convenient location. Even when busy it is straightforward. Car hire right next to the terminal.
