Wren took over my original advisor. Consistently inept and poor service. Glad to have purchased an annuity and " escaped" from the floundering that they call " advice"

We have been dealing with Tim Dendy at Wren Sterling. Tim has proved to be very approachable, responsive and thorough in the advice he has provided to us in dealing with our financial planning, either over the phone or on Teams calls. We would recommend Tim and look forward to working with him in the future.

We recently contacted Andy Binns about a Pension and how best to deal with this for what we needed. Throughout the whole time of the process we had lots of communication with Andy as to what stages things were at as well as a close out meeting when the pension was received. Andy made us feel very relaxed though the meetings we had and explained things clearly as well as giving expected time scales at each point. We will certainly use Andy's services again and highly recommend him to others as he is a great Financial Planner and easy to get along with.

This afternoon I had a financial meeting with Andrew Mence. He is such a pleasure to do business with and quickly grasps an individual’s needs. He elucidates concisely and accurately, giving details to fill in the big picture so that decisions can be made. I cannot recommend him enough and thoroughly look forward to working with him in the future.

I was previously with a different financial advisor, through my work from 30 years ago , who eventually through selling up etc became Wren Sterling , so when I needed advice on a pension policy that needed reinvestment, I was put in contact with Scot Lamont. He guided me expertly and professionally to set up my new pension investment. We arranged zoom meetings and telephone calls which were all undertaken at the time agreed , and even if we needed to communicate out with set appointments for any queries , these were completed quickly either by phone or email . I am grateful for his thorough knowledge which led me to easily arrange my pension needs for the future , thank you . I would recommend Scot to anyone for financial planning , even small questions were no problem for him to answer .

Hopeless first contact with this firm. The contact gave me two definite advisors names then cancelled on subsequent phone calls. Then she cancelled the day and finally we settled on a third advisor and another date. Do I have confidence in this firm to handle my affairs-not really!!!

I am sorry to say that my experience with Wren Sterling was unsatisfactory in nearly all respects from the initial contact when telephone appointments were made and subsequently cancelled at short notice and when the telephone interview took place the stated remit of the interviewer was exceeded and the final named interviewer was incorrect. This along with spelling errors in correspondence led me to consider that I was dealing with an unprofessional organisation. First impressions are vitally important in any relationship. Ultimately I agreed with and accepted Wren Sterling’s recommendation.

My mother has her investments with this company. Over the last year, my mother has development dementia and now needs round-the-clock care which is very expensive. I need to draw down from her investments to fund this. In spite of having informed Wren Sterling of this requirement during the summer and given explicit instructions last month, nothing has happened and within a couple of weeks, we will run out of money. I cannot get any response out of the company. Further update: In the last week, I have had some contact from the company. I have had to fill in forms and provide various documents. I was promised that the money would be in her account today. It wasn’t. Further update (two weeks later): Another two weeks, have passed and we still have no received any of the requested funds. Today I was promised that the money will be paid tomorrow. This is the third day running that I have been told we will have the funds the next day, but I am still waiting. There really is no point in having savings if you cannot access them when you need them. Beware that with Wren Sterling, you may not have access to them for long time. It is now over seven weeks since I give specific instructions about payment and they have still not executed them.

I have been a client of David Simons for a number of years and prior to the old companies merger with Wren Sterling. I cannot praise him enough with regard to his professionalism, subject knowledge, help, guidance and advise concerning all things of a financial nature. He has gone out of his way to help me with financial matters on the periphery of my investments and all his advise has been excellent. I give 5 stars to Divid and a big thank you.

I have used Michael Rigg for nine years now. He advised me on setting up two long term investment plans. Every year he has undertaken a thorough review for me. Five years in my persnal circumstances changed so he recommended a different risk profile investment for one of the funds. Both funds have performed well under the circumstances. I would have no hesitation recommending Michael and Wren Sterling to friends and colleagues who are seeking independent professional advice.
