   I was introduced to Haines Watts Nottingham a year ago and frankly it was one of those chance encounters that instantly feels right. The initial meeting with Mark Roe and Laura Cheesman uncovered a complex historical tax issue that required urgent attention. Laura was assigned to that task and threw herself into the challenge with determination, skill and at times incredible patience. She dealt with complex and often incomplete information streams on our side and the lack of coordination within HMRC with the same calm and reassuring professionalism. After a year of hard graft she achieved an excellent outcome that worked for all parties and we are now looking forward to working together on longer term tax planning initiatives.
