   A breath of fresh air! We had been looking for air conditioning to three rooms in our domestic property. We had obtained a few quotes from various firms local to us, all of which seemed frankly to be absurd in terms of pricing and came with an expectation of being tied into long service agreements at over £100 per month or they wouldn’t honour any warranty on the system. After reaching out to Gareth at Lakes, our request for a quote was acknowledged within a few hours via email. Less than 24 hours later we had a very reasonable detailed quote for our review for a system that was backed by a seven year manufacturer warranty and no requirement for a service agreement. Gareth did a pre-install survey a few days later to check that the proposed system was suitable for the size of the rooms and to check where we wanted the equipment. The install was completed over two days, the two engineers were friendly, nothing was too much trouble and they were very clean and tidy. We are very pleased with the workmanship and I would not hesitate to recommend Lakes Refrigeration to anyone looking for residential air conditioning. It was very refreshing to deal with such a professional firm who are committed to delivering an outstanding service for their customers.

   Lake installed my air conditioning units in my bedroom and living room in March 2006, and nearly 20 years later they're still reliably keeping me cool and comfortable. The outdoor unit handles both indoor units, and it's quiet enough to easily get to sleep without disturbing neighbours. I had a service in 2025 and would recommend Lake for anyone thinking about a new system.

   I'm so glad I went with these guys, its hard to find good people who care about their work and treat your house with respect but from my experience these guys are it. I had 3 quotes for similar prices, I met other installers and Steve seemed the most professional and helpful and gave good advice before quoting for the install etc. I had a semi-complex setup and interesting cabling requirements. The guys on the day were very polite and went above & beyond to get things setup neatly and working properly. very very clean on the inside work, you wouldnt know they were there, even helped level and lay concrete for the outside work. They have been super responsive when i have had questions post install too! 100% would recommend

   Everything that Lake Refridgeration did for me on this project was excellent from start to finish. They came out gave me a quote on the Thursday morning, and I gave them the go ahead Thursday afternoon. Friday I got a call asking me when it would be convenient to do the installation, and was asked if Monday would be OK! By 4pm on Monday afternoon I had got two A/C systems fitted. The engineers could not have been nicer or more professional. So after giving them the go ahead, the job had been completed in four days and two of those day were the Weekend. The Daiken systems are exactly what I wanted, they’re quiet, look fantastic and with a Wi-Fi remote you really have nothing to do but turn it on and sit back and relax. I have no reservation about recommending Lake Refridgeration.

   Matt and his mate did a great job with the A/C installation in my living room. 5* from start to finish, they explained everything to me i.e. how to take off and clean the A/C filters and they spent so much time hoovering up all the debris from drilling to make sure the place is as neat and tidy as it was before the installation work began. No complaints, very professional.
