I'm not sure what's happened, but over the last few years this location of the branch has really declined. I used to enjoy coming for the salads and soups But on the last few occasions I've been and the only gluten free option is 'avocado on toast'. It costs about £8, and it's two tiny slices of rock hard burnt bread with out-of-the-tube avocado paste on top. Nothing else. My partner got a cooked breakfast and the bacon was so hard it was inedible. It seems like everything is pre-cooked and then heated up - really hard, tastless and poor quality. It's a shame because you're the only café in the area - the food just let's it down so much.

Ordered coffee that never arrived. Dirty plates and cutlery stacked on tables also ignored. Eventually left for coffee elsewhere. Poor all round.

Way over priced for what you get. We ordered breakfast baps and pancakes and came to over £30. The baps were small, came with nothing on the side and ingredients are clearly pre-made off site and warmed up in small grill. I also do not understand why everything is served on paper that ends up having bits in the food. Fast food quality at hipster cafe prices.

In a few times but don't find the staff particularly friendly or welcoming. Ordered coffee and bun at counter and went to place my wet umbrella by the window only to be greeted by "you need to pay at the counter first". Very slow service even though only two of us in the place. Wont be back.

No-one acknowledged us or other customers as we arrived. No-one looked up or smiled or gave us a menu. I discovered them in a basket on the counter so got our own. Expensive place too! Salad with the ham ciabatta was nice and a decent portion. Ciabatta wasn’t exciting. Stacked waffles weren’t stacked and were a bit dismal to look at but apparently nice. 2 coke zeros became 2 cokes - couldn’t be bothered asking for them to be changed. Took ages for the food to arrive even though it is pre-prepared. Traybakes £2.90 each. Brownie was lovely and Rice Krispie bun had thick chocolate and was lovely also. No real atmosphere or mood lighting. Could be a canteen. Clean tables and seating though. Won’t be in any rush back. In total spent about £23

Absolutely shocking. It doesn’t allow me to give ZERO STARS…. We were looking for somewhere new to try for lunch and the staff did not even have the time to welcome us in. We used to eat at the previous establishment ‘Goodness Rock’ and we loved it. The place was empty, two ladies ‘working’ at the counter who did not acknowledge us neither even brought us Menus. We had to go up to collect them ourselves and after 10 mins waiting we just left. Another place soon to be closed on the Saintfield road…

I and other members of the family really like the coffee here, hot or iced, as well as a traybake or 2 to share. They're quite substantial. However I found the scone purchased today a bit dense rather than light but my daughter enjoyed it. The staff are friendly and keen you enjoy the goods on offer. Haven't yet tried their on line menu choices but intend to. If local to Newtownbreda give them a chance.
