   Emma is a simply fabulous florist whose work for our wedding could not have been more perfect. We chose Emma because we were keen to use local flowers but I was completely blown away by how gorgeous the arrangements were. As Emma works seasonally, I had no idea what I was getting until it arrived on the morning of the wedding but she had totally smashed the brief of colour and abundance in all aspects. Both Emma and Sue were lovely to deal with and I couldn’t recommend them more. They totally made my day.

   As we got married in a conservation area, it meant a lot to find a florist that was kind to the environment. Emma was a joy to deal with. She helped us pick flowers that were in season, natural and in-keeping with our colour scheme. She provided us with bride and bridesmaid bouquets, buttonholes, flowers for the bride's hair, flowers for the reception room and flowers for the wedding cake. All flowers were absolutely stunning. Our guests were chuffed that they could take the jam jar flowers on their dinner table home.

   We can not recommend Emma highly enough. She was totally engaged in our vision for our mini-wedding and helped us find gorgeous flowers that did not have an unnecessary carbon footprint, and then donated what was left after our wedding to others who needed them. She was generous with her time and totally worked within our budget. We’re hoping she’ll do the flowers for our larger post-Covid wedding, too!

   Emma created some utterly stunning flowers for our much-postponed wedding day. We were drawn to her initially because of her fantastic eco credentials and ethos, using local flowers and keeping entirely plastic free were really important to us and Emma has so much fantastic expertise. Our wedding changed date a fair few times and Emma was able to adapt our brief to remain seasonal but still the style and colours we’d been hoping for. Both the bouquets for myself and my best woman were absolutely beautiful (I wanted something wild and impactful but also not too massive as I’m only tiny!) and the buttonholes for the gents gave their suits the perfect finishing touch. We also wanted some arrangements that could be dual use - lining our aisle and then becoming table arrangements - and she came up with the super chic idea of using pots with a mixture of flowers and plants which was one of my favourite things about the arrangements. Emma has been so lovely to deal with all through the pandemic despite going through all the ups and downs of lockdowns and it was so great to finally see her again on our wedding day and give her a hug!    We had met with a number of florists face to face before finding Urban Flower Farmer through hitched.co.uk. Our communication was mainly through email, Emma was fast to respond and immediately put us at ease with her friendly manner and helpful suggestions. Throughout the pandemic Emma kept us informed of any changes and we never doubted her commitment to our wedding date even though it had to be postponed. Emma and I shared a Pinterest board and from that she created the most beautiful flowers, her ability to pick complimentary colours, excellent shapes and the quality of the flowers astounded us. The flowers really were perfect and we were so pleased. Thank you, Emma.
