Very nice lunch at The Mad Merchants , Plymouth Barbican. Sat in the garden to eat but there is also indoor seating when the weather isn’t sunny!
Extremely poor service. I am not the type of person to leave negative reviews, however the time wasted and bad service i feel i should make other business owners aware. I met with Malcolm on 3 occasions (2 of which seemed pretty irrelevant and included a lot of small talk) we finally sat down and got my tax return on paper to which Malcolm assured me "had been submitted". 2 months on, i checked and there were no accounts made up for my business. I called MH associates to be assured i would receive a call back. I then called again, "malcolm is in a meeting". I finally got Malcolm on the phone, all the while my submission date is creeping up. He assured me he had just been busy and if i could "come in for another meeting it would be sorted" i swiftly declined as i had wasted enough time at this stage. He then advised the return would be filed within the month. another 6 weeks go by, still no return. I called 3 times to be told he would phone me back to no avail. I have since had to go and seek another accountant as an emergency as my return had 1 month left before the due date. The accountant advised the information Malcolm had put together was completely irrelevant and borderline illegal so at this stage I ensured MH associates deleted my information. Again, I don't feel great leaving a negative review however the service and professionalism was not there.

My Accountant has been for 10 years plus good service reasonably priced that's why I have continued to use there services highly recommend.
It's fair to say that my books for the last few years have been a mess. This year I was introduced to Malcolm and his friendly team and not only have they got me straight with my books, they also managed to get me some money back. I highly recommend them to any small business owner.
