Daisy’s Florist Wanstead – Disappointing Experience I was in desperate need of some cellophane one morning and thought to support a local business first. I stopped by Daisy’s Florist in Wanstead, hoping they might be able to help. I explained that I only needed a couple of sheets — or would happily purchase a full roll if that was easier. To my disappointment, the florist refused outright and wouldn’t part with even a small piece to help me out. There was no attempt to offer an alternative or show understanding — just a very blunt “no.” Moments later, I walked into Lillie’s of Wanstead and asked the same thing. The lady there immediately said, “Of course, no problem at all.” When I offered to pay, she kindly declined and instead suggested I make a small donation to Haven House charity. That simple act of kindness really stood out — and highlighted the contrast in attitude between two local businesses. Sadly, my experience at Daisy’s left me with the impression that community spirit and kindness are not values they uphold- a clear lack of warmth and generosity that doesn’t reflect the true spirit of Wanstead. I won’t be returning. (I rarely give one-star reviews, but I honestly can’t think of any reason why I’d even give two. I wasn’t even greeted or acknowledged when I walked in that morning)
Amazing local business, run by fabulous people. Daisy’s never lets me down, they always deliver the best bouquets.

Daisy did the most beautiful arrangement for my bridal bouquet! She really listened to what I wanted, even when I couldn't articulate myself or explain my vision properly! The bouquet went perfectly with the flowers at the venue and they lasted the whole day. I knew as soon as I met her that I could trust her, and she proved me right!
Daisy has been so accommodating of the needs of our very large family from here and abroad. She has listened to all our individual requests with sincerity and sympathy for close family. I would highly recommend supporting this local florist. Thank you Daisy!

Daisy organised the flowers for my dad’s funeral. She and her team were very helpful over the phone, and when I popped in to see them, Daisy was full of ideas. She listened to what we wanted, directed me on what was appropriate and suitable, and entertained all of my ideas. She was wonderful and so calm, friendly and professional.
