   This was our second wreath workshop and it was just as brilliant as the first! Rebecca is so kind and genuinely goes above and beyond to help you create something you’re really proud of. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming and she guides you through every step with complete and utter patience until you’re happy with how it looks. Both me and my mum created beautiful wreaths and had such a great time! We’re already looking forward to our next one- next year! Thanks again!

   Rebecca supplied the most gorgeous flowers for our wedding. From the very first Zoom call, it was clear how knowledgeable and passionate she is. She advised on which flowers would likely be in bloom at the time of our wedding and carefully talked through different varieties and colours to make sure everything matched our theme. She also created a thoughtful design portfolio with photos and ideas, which was really helpful to revisit during the planning process. Rebecca made my bouquet, bridesmaids’ bouquets, and buttonholes, and also supplied buckets of flowers so we could arrange our own venue flowers. My bouquet was even more beautiful than imagined, filled with stunning British-grown blooms. The buckets were overflowing with flowers, I was so impressed with how many she fitted in. We had so many different varieties and textures. Her sustainable approach was also hugely evident, she kindly offered a selection of florist vases and props to borrow for just a deposit, which was such a thoughtful alternative to buying everything new. In the week before the wedding, when the summer weather had made delphiniums hard to source, Rebecca stayed in touch and suggested alternatives. On the day of delivery, she went above and beyond by managing to find some after all, making a special trip to one of her suppliers. That extra effort made such a difference and the delphiniums were so tall and amazing! So many guests commented on how beautiful the flowers were. Working with Rebecca was a pleasure from start to finish and one of the highlights of the wedding planning process. She is friendly, professional, and talented, and we would wholeheartedly recommend her.

After two false starts (weddings cancelled in 2020 & 2021) we were so thrilled that Lilac & Lace (Rebecca) was available to create the beautiful flowers for our wedding day last weekend. She also appreciates the little things like including flowers that represented the heritage of our families and researching alternatives when the protected flowers could not be sourced - it meant a lot to us.    Where do I start?? Simply put, Rebecca created the wedding flowers of my dreams! Even though she makes it look so effortless, I know that there is so much that goes on behind the scenes and can’t thank her enough for all of the work that she did for our October wedding. She is so kind - and when you get caught up in the craziness of wedding planning, it’s so refreshing to open an email where you can just feel the kindness shining through. She shared in our excitement and her genuineness is so endearing. During our first call she carefully listened and offered thoughtful suggestions - and we very much appreciated all of her insight and floral knowledge about what would be in season and which flowers would work the best for the pieces that we wanted. I smiled ear to ear when I read through our flower proposal because it painted an in depth picture of what each detail would look like - she knew exactly what we wanted and was able to piece everything together even though the ideas we provided her with were incredibly scattered and all over the place! Every last element of our day was touched upon - the effort that goes into the proposal was very apparent and her ability to transform our vision into a mood board that so perfectly captured everything we wanted was magical. You can truly tell that Rebecca loves what she does - I didn’t realise just how much trust you have to put into your vendors during wedding planning…and I trusted Rebecca’s guidance and vision so much and she more than delivered absolute perfection. Flowers were such a huge part of the vibe of our day - and we love that her gorgeous creations will live forever in our wedding photos. I was overjoyed that we could also hire taper and votive candle holders and candles from Rebecca - the candles matched our colours perfectly, and the tables looked so impeccable…all thanks to her creative touch! The cherry on top of everything is that Rebecca gifts her couples 25 trees in their names - ours are in a newly planted forest in Tanzania! It’s such a testament to her commitment to being eco-conscious and we love that such a thoughtful gesture capped off an amazing experience with her! We count ourselves truly lucky to call Rebecca our wedding florist and cannot thank her enough for the jewel toned brilliance that she handcrafted - we 100% recommend her…and her talent and passion!    Rebecca has been an absolute dream to work with from start to finish. I was nervous as I had little interest in flowers but Rebecca was so knowledgable and really took the time to share her passion for creating such beautiful work that I couldn't help but be excited by the end of our meeting.    The best decision we made was to have Rebecca to create our vision for our flowers for our wedding day! From our initial conversation it felt like we’d known each other for years, despite having never met. Even from our first meeting we spoke for hours about flowers and what we wished to create for our day. Given we had postponed multiple times due to Covid we had to change our florist & I truly believe this was meant to be & destiny as it led us to Lilac & Lace & as such we got everything we wanted and more. The way Rebecca was able to understand my description of “messy countryside hedgerow with a riot of wafty cottage colour” as my vision, and knew instantly Rebecca understood the assignment and was able to get a clear grasp of what we wanted to create. Despite having a confident and clear vision and plan for our flowers a week before our wedding Rebecca suggested we step things up and bring plants into our decor so we could use them in our garden at home after our wedding day and therefore be more sustainable and environmentally friendly. Something which is incredibly important to me and to her! It was perfect!!! Rebecca’s way of the working was about partnership and ensuring everything was sourced locally as well and making sure as little as possible would be wasted or negatively impact the environment. The colour scheme she created was just exceptional and I was so excited to know all our flowers would be great on the day. The morning of our wedding the flowers arrived and they were everything and more as to what I wanted them to be! The mix of colours and flora was as though I’d walked down a country lane and scooped everything up from the wild… they were perfect!!!! The naturally hand dyed bamboo silk to tie the bouquet was the most beautiful shade and worked so well with the entire scheme. The button holes were gorgeous as were all the flowers in the church. It was everything and more that I had poorly tried to convey to Rebecca, but she had already somehow figured out vision my head and put it into action. Everything screamed me & I had so many family & guests who reiterated this continually throughout the day too! After the church service Rebecca transferred all the flowers to our reception venue and again created an English country garden/ woodland landscape in front of our top table - which was more than I could have ever imagined could have been created. It was sublime! Rebecca is an utter genius and I cannot thank her enough. The nods to my grandmother in using sweet peas was something that meant the world to me and my family. It honestly made both my husband & my day that the flowers were so incredible! We encouraged our guests to take home the flowers from the tables as they were all in individual vases and this was so effective and simple. Whilst the flowers looked simply put together the work that went into these displays were exceptional. To make that appearance is incredibly difficult. Having taken them down post wedding you could see the hard work that went into every creation. I am still in shock that Rebecca was not only able to confidently understand what I wanted to create and the. executed it so it felt like a Chelsea Flower show exhibit! We can not believe how lucky we are to have had Rebecca be part of our day, to create things that have meant so much and just when we thought we couldn’t make things any better she then pulls the genius idea about he living plants for us to continue this beautiful display to grow in our garden for years to come. We truly believe we hit the jackpot in not only finding Rebecca but having her create such stunning flowers for our day. The fact that she also donates trees for sustainability and our carbon footprint as a gift to us post wedding was just an astonishing and amazing touch. Don’t give anyone else another thought when it comes to your flower needs. You should only ever use Lilac & Lace. We will never be able to thank you enough Rebecca. Thank you this was easily the best decision we made for the best day of our lives.

   Rebecca was amazing!! She was easy, accommodating, understanding and patient with all our date changes. Our flowers were stunning and everyone told us how amazing it all looked. Our Arch was beautiful and mobile so we could move it for photos after our ceremony. She was a gem and we would recommend her to anyone! We are sad our journey with her is over!
