the bingham boots is a solid, essential high-street store. it does what it needs to: it handles the pharmacy needs, stocks the usual health and beauty essentials, and is a convenient stop for a quick lunch deal. the store is well-organized, and the staff are generally professional, especially the pharmacy team who are consistently helpful and knowledgeable. the main issue here is often the queue; it seems to get busy at peak times, and the rating (3.6) reflects that the speed of service can sometimes be a bit hitormiss. if you need to pop in for a quick item, it’s great, but if you have a pharmacy prescription to collect, be prepared for a bit of a wait. it’s a vital resource for the town, but don’t go when you're in a mad rush

No one answers the telephones !! Tried literally every 30 mins for 4 hours for the last few days and just rings and rings and rings every single time. Absolutely shocking

I didn't take the lady's name at the time, but a kind, slim, blonde lady assistant helped me at the Bingham store on Tue 6th May. she told me about my advantage card points without me even asking and gave me to option to use my points for my purchase. She was very upbeat, friendly and helpful, and a credit to your store - Thank you

Juliana was extremely helpful, she went above and beyond to help us with our shopping experience. Nothing was a bother, she was joyful and gave off good energy.

NHS Online states Mebeverine can be given by pharmacy. I went in and asked for this and they said it was prescription only medication. Went to a different pharmacy who were quite happy to provide the medication without a prescription after short discussion to ensure it was appropriate. Wasted my time going there, and felt information they gave me about this medication was incorrect.

Shocking service , never helpful, They can walk past you and totally ignore your there ! Haven’t got a clue what’s going on , Then close the whole shop as there isn’t a pharmacist in ! Bad enough service daily then that on top ! Never been any good !

Lazy, unhelpful ‘customer assistants’ (the irony). Can’t be bothered to help or look for products. They prefer to stand around chatting, point rather than use their legs and god forbid an item is ‘in the back’ - you’d think you were asking them to climb a mountain to look for it.

Service is very slow as they don’t have enough staff. I have also experienced poor advice from the pharmacy. I now go elsewhere, there are much better options

On 18th November 2021 I was in need of an emergency prescrption and advice for my elderly mother and directed to contact the Boots pharmacy at Bingham by the NHS 111 Service. The pharmacist I spoke with could not have been more helpful and considerate. I think her name was Meena or Jasmena. She seemed completely dedicated to customer service and took a great deal of time to help resolve my issues providing reassurance at a difficult and stressful time. From the hubbub in the background the store was clearly busy yet this pharmacist continued to devote time to my needs. I am most grateful to her. She is a credit to the profession and to Boots.

Staff are very knowledgeable, they remember repeat customers and are always willing to help. The pharmacy staff have all been amazing through this pandemic and made sure services have not been affected.
