   A lovely tattoo studio with a really cosy and comfortable atmosphere. Very welcoming inside. I had a session with Tara and all 3 of the tattoos I got are amazing. She is a master of her craft. She was so pleasant to talk with, which made me feel at ease the whole time. I look forward to returning in the new year. I highly recommend you get booked in here at Vellum, you won't find a better studio or artists in Nottingham! ☺️

   Had Ell do 2 lots of work so far and booked in for more, can not say highly enough how brilliant a place this is. My wife is now booked in for work and my brother in law has also been, if anyone asks where to get some ink done will not hesitate to recommend Vellum!

   Highly recommend Brooke! She has recently completed a cover up for me of a tattoo that I had done elsewhere and hadn’t gone the way I wanted it to. I was very nervous considering I’d had a bad experience elsewhere and Brooke was so kind and patient. She made sure she’d discussed all the possible options and was clear about what could and couldn’t be done. She made me feel very comfortable and relaxed during the whole process. Thank you Brooke for making it a great experience! Absolutely love my cover up tattoo ♥️

   Vellum affords a relaxed, welcoming enviroment. There is a strong emphasis on hygiene in the application of the work and in the aftercare. The decor of the studio reflects the creativity and indivualism of the extremely talented tattoo artists. Brooke had the challenge of reworking a very poor tattoo I had done elsewhere. She took the time to work with me to fully understand my personal narrative. Brooke expertly employed an organic/ fluid approach to interpret my ideas and transformed the badly executed tattoo into an imaginative and unique work of art with detailed shading and precision line work. It was my first visit to Vellum and it will not be my last. Highly recommend!

   Best of experience I’ve ever had with tattoo jai was so good from start to finish, as much as tattoos hurt I didn’t think about that because of relaxing atmosphere I was put at ease the second I walked through the door .jai is an amazing artist full of advice really easy to get along with and very welcoming and also introduce me to a new genre of music !! I love my tattoo and can’t wait to go back to finish it off, I would 100% recommend

   I was recommended by a friend to visit Vellum for a consult on my first tattoo. Jai is super nice to work with and everyone who works there are just as great to be around! On the day, Jai explained what would be happening throughout the tattoo appointment, health and safety measures practised were explained and I felt reassured that I was in good hands, especially with the 'first tattoo nerves'! I felt really comfortable throughout the day and questions/curiosities I had were answered too.

   First ever tattoo - BRILLIANT! Jai and the team really do go above and beyond to ensure that everything is in order and that you are happy with the final design, approach, practicalities and aftercare before proceeding. I can't recommend Vellum enough. The hygiene standards are excellent, and the studios are light, relaxing and fascinating. All are absolute professionals, artists, inspiring, and a joy to be around - especially grateful as I was extremely nervous! I would recommend Vellum to anyone - They really are a talented, thoughtful, and personable team - I had a memorial medium Da Vinci style dragonfly back-piece done in honour of my other half whom passed away recently - They just understood exactly what I wanted, and were compassionate throughout - I cannot Thank them enough for their attention, care, and professionalism.
