The best experience! I got my nose pierced, walked in and the staff were just so friendly - there was a short wait as it was busy (which can only be a good thing!) they made me feel so at ease, so clean and hygienic - went through all of the aftercare with me and the appointment was over super quick! So pleased!
Staff are friendly and approachable. Member of staff that did my piercings was professional and maintained hygienic practice. She took the time to talk through how the piercings could be done with the anatomy I have. Overall a quick and easy experience Thank you~
I had a great experience here. We visited during the week of Christmas when Nottingham was extremely busy, but despite the chaos outside, the shop itself had a calm and welcoming atmosphere. Maisie, who was working on the till, was fantastic, she was very helpful with my questions, and the rest of the staff were equally great, offering their own advice and input. The piercing process was quick and straightforward. Heather, who pierced my ear, was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, which really helped put me at ease. Prices were very reasonable too. I would highly recommend this place!
The staff upstairs were a bit scattish and seemed unsure as to what they were doing and gave no assistance in helping choose the jewellery. Once chosen we were told to we would get a text in around in 2 hours. We went for a meal and received a text 15 minutes after our visit saying to return. I phoned back and asked to have our slot pushed back to 12 which I was told was fine. When we arrived at 12 we were sent downstairs and waiting for 20 minutes before being told it might be a longer wait. When we asked, we were told the piercer was going on lunch and it was our fault we were having to wait because we missed our slot. We were refused a refund due to policy so had no choice but to wait. We were really unimpressed with the customer service from the team upstairs. Once we entered the piercing studio Heather was absolutely amazing. She was kind, caring and precise. She verbalised everything she was doing to ensure comfort and was extremely professional. Heather entirely changed my opinion on this experience and I’ve walked out with two amazing new piercings and great advice on a previous piercing.
I went to Blue Banana to get a floating navel piercing after contemplating it since 2023 lol. It was the holilday YOLO vibe + the tentativeness of the staff + the condition of the piercing room which I could tell was top notch that made me finally take the leap. Alex talked me through the process and booked me in for an anatomy consultation in the morning. My consulation was with Heather, who was so friendly and informative (I asked so many questions!) that I felt confident to book the actual piercing appointment that afternoon. I told her I was nervous and Heather did everything to make me feel comfortable and it was all done! Quicker and easier than I thought. I was even given a few plasters to take home. I'm really glad I chose to do my piercing with Blue Banana and super happy I got Heather as my piercer! xx Do keep in mind their 'bookings' are walk-ins and they'll tell you your waiting times. I had to wait 30mins for the anatomy consultation and 40-50mins for the piercing session (because my chosen jewellery needed to be sterilised, otherwise it would've been 30mins as well). It's best to come in the morning! :)

Went in for my first piercing, everyone was very friendly and it was done within about 30 mins. Jen was my piercer, was very nice and talked me through what she was doing throughout the process.
Had my very first piercing here (eyebrow). I am extremely happy with how it turned out. Staff were very friendly and patient with me while providing me with a large amount of jewellery options. I expected a LOT of pain but it mostly felt slightly uncomfortable at worst (as to be expected). Also given advice of how to properly maintain and care for my new piercing. I would definitely consider coming back here should I want another piercing.
