   I used Happy Paws for 4 years then Covid struck so the price of each dog went up from £32 to £46 "for PPE and disinfectant." Given that disinfectant is less than £1 a bottle, and masks/aprons etc are cheap, I'd assumed these items were already being used BEFORE Covid?? Loyal customers, many out of work at this point, were having to pay for the company's disinfectant etc....things they should have been using anyway. I was sad to leave as they are great groomers, but watching the economy crashing and people losing jobs, I felt this price increase was unjustified, greedy and unfair on the loyal customers, who pay their wages. I also believe it is nothing but utter greed with a nonsense excuse about disinfectant etc. I feel it is more about trying to make money off loyal customers becsuse so many can't use thr service due to shielding, therefore profits were down and Happy Paws meeded to recoup these by extortionately incressing prices whilst half the country were out of work. And that is shameful. I'd consider using HP again if they were more honest and loyal to their customers, and dropped the prices to the original ones. in addition, it is illegal to profit from a pandemic and could cause them many problems. sad because they do a great job.

   If you own Bichon Frise you'll understand how important a great groomer is. But when you find a grooming parlour as excellent as Happy paws are, you won't go anywhere else. When we first moved here we tried a few :( but always came away unhappy with the results, the dogs were unhappy & it they didn't do a 'Bichon cut'. Paul & Lorna at Happy Paws know their stuff, we use them every 4-5 weeks & wouldn't go anywhere else. The dogs come away looking great everytime. Nothing is too much trouble for this professional family run top class grooming salon with excellent prices. Customer service is hard to come by these days but they never fail.Located in beautiful surroundings with excellent facilities for all the dogs, an optional delivery service is also available. If you're going to use any groomer use Happy Paws, but book early as they are extremely popular! 5☆
