   I had no idea as to how to enhance my pension. I contacted the David Smyth Practice and Jeff responded immediately. He took me through all of my pension accounts (3 accounts), looked at our expenses and compiled a list of viable accounts along with his recommendation. I consolidated all of my accounts into one and over the last 2 months my portfolio has grown enough to cover the professional fees as well as showing an increase.    If you are like me and buying a house and have absolutely no clue what you are doing and need somebody who knows everything this is the place for you. Jeff Smyth made buying my first house exceptionally easy, from the first meeting of fact finding and telling me what I could get, to all the steps of getting my mortgage, insurance (and hunting for the best deals) and solicitors setup when I had decided where I was going. With Jeff's vast knowledge and contacts it was smooth sailing from day one until completion. He kept everyone updated and made sure everything was always moving. From what all I have heard from others around me this is not the norm, so if you are in the same position needing to buy a house I would HIGHLY recommend you to go to The David Smyth practice.    I would like to start off by saying, very rarely do I make any reviews, especially regarding my finances. In this case, I felt compelled, as Jeff and his team went above and beyond to mentor and guide me with my investments, mortgage, and insurance policies, which I’m absolutely delighted with. I have had three experiences with financial advisors, two being London-based - Jeff was the lucky third. Having face-to-face meetings was important for me, but over time, and with the use of Zoom, there was no longer that need. After feeling like just a number on the books and lacking, yet again, that personal touch from the London firms - someone who cares. I decided to look elsewhere and was recommended Jeff. Jeff took the time to understand my needs, get to know me, and help me build an exciting/solid plan for the future. Surprisingly, I ended up meeting him more, compared to my previous advisors, as he makes the effort to travel around the UK to check in on his clients. It’s this genuine personal investment in the clients that makes me feel at ease. Coming from a working-class background myself, the education on how to invest and make your finances work for you is never taught.
