   Booked for a boiler service after SSE stopped offering them. The appointment was easy to book and pay for, and the pricing seemed quite reasonable as well. The friendly engineer arrived during the booked slot, and was able to carry out the service with minimal disruption while I worked from home. Happy to recommend.

Honestly speaking they are probably not the cheapest available, however in my experience they are worth every penny. The Solv engineers are always reliable, friendly and efficient. They arrive when they say they’re going to, they get the job done and the customer service is excellent too. I lead a very busy life and these are all attributes I value greatly.

   Solv provided us with an excellent, quick and fair service. James went an extra mile to make sure we get heat back in the house. We got a new gas boiler installed just before Christmas after multiple breakdowns. Even though they were fully booked, James made sure we were prioritised as we had no heating or hot water. The work was done the next day after our call and finished in a few hours time. The plumbers were polite. We are so glad to have found Solv.

   When our heating broke down a week before Christmas in the midst of temperatures below zero in the daytime, the engineer came as soon as they could, thoroughly investigated the causes and provided the right advice. In this case the 11 year old boiler did need to be replaced and Solv organised for its installation in awful weather on 23 December - and saved our family Christmas (and hopefully many more of them).

   These people did what they said they would do - very well and very quickly. Was looking for a boiler repair/service on a 10 year old boiler and was told,, very apologetically, that boiler was leaking CO and beyond economic repair. OK - accepted. They then got me a quote for a new boiler, and got it installed the next day - taking account of some very specific requirements. The whole team were interested and engaged in getting me what I needed as quickly as possible. Excellent service.

   We use these guys at work and I used them to service my gas boiler at home a couple of months back. Then I needed to shift the location of a radiator and a new radiator installed. I was finding it hard to get a plumber as it was quite a tricky job - the hubby would usually tackle this kind of thing but he knew it was beyond him. Very glad I decided to look at Solv's website and found that they can do fiddly jobs like this. After I left an online inquiry they rang me back and cost was explained and an appointment booked over the phone. They were able to come out sooner than I hoped and the two guys that arrived got straight onto the job and worked away until it was done. Lovely guys, pleasant and polite, gold stars :) The job took a bit longer than expected but it's an old house, there was joists in the way and the pipes were in a very tricky spot under the boiler and floor. We are very happy with the job. You can tell that Solv are a professional company, the website, the vans and uniform. You just know you're in good hands, they know what they're doing and they're going to do a proper job! I would recommend to anyone, and have done. (I don't normally write reviews and they didn't ask for one either)
