Helen and the team are fantastic! Never been somewhere which such amazing customer service each and every time! They make the effort to know your name everytime you come through the door, and build such a rapport with all of their customers. Honestly, they’re an amazing team!
I had the misfortune of calling the Pharmacy in Looe on 16.12.25 late afternoon after a mix up with my prescription being sent here instead of my nominated Chemist where I now live . I was given the phone number from Avencia Pharmacy with instructions to "release my prescription to the spine" The error was unfortunate & I really need the medication today but obviously there will now be a delay. This i can cope with. What i cant quite comprehend is why ive had to ask to be put on the phone to another menber of staff for a simple request , which she did without issue , thankfully , after being hollered at down the phone by such an abusive , ill mannered male representing Boots in a position of trust during a very sensitive & stressful time . Is it really acceptable in any work place let alone a Pharmacy to be shouting at a customer about confidential medical issues loud enough for the people nearby to overhear instead of having some decency & listening to the caller . I really empathise with anyone poorly enough to have to resort to using this Pharnacy . No wonder people are avoiding getting help for medical problems if this is the attitude your met with . Staff training needed ASAP . Completely unprofessional & he hadn't a clue what i was asking for or any remote interest other than to get me off the phone & tell me that id called the wrong number ! Kudos to the courteous Lady that was forced to take over the call & helped me . Boots try hiring locals or you will lose customers with this aggressive mentality.

Such helpful, friendly and efficient staff here. Was very pleased and greatful for their customer service. Even though the place was super busy, staff were fantastic and offered great service. The store is quite a decent size and well stocked with beauty / makeup, toiletry and hygiene products, as well as the pharmacy side of things. Looe can be difficult to get parked in the high season and people walk in crowds on the road as the pavements are narrow, so accessing the store by car can bit tricky.
Very slow service. Waiting in a queue for around 10 minutes with only 3 people in front of me. Two tills not in use.
I have probably called like 20 times to ask about a prescription and no one ever picked up the phone

Boots in Looe is ok at it's core, does most things well. Company as a whole showing a lack of investment in it's stores. I think this, and other regional stores are looking 'shabby'. The shelves and floor look old and tired. The general decor needs upgrading, especially as there is another chemist here.
