   I recently got an Egyptian design tattooed by Adie at Renaissance Tattoo and I honestly couldn’t be more impressed. From the moment I walked into the studio, it was clear I was in good hands. The space is spotless, calm, and welcoming—everything feels very professional yet personal. Adie took the time to truly listen to what I wanted. He didn’t just copy a reference image; he asked great questions about which symbols meant the most, how bold I wanted the shading, how fine the lines should be, what kind of style (realism, black & grey, etc.) I was leaning toward. He sketched with precision, explained the process and what to expect from healing, and made me feel confident every step of the way. When it came to the tattooing itself, I was amazed. The detail in the Egyptian motifs was immaculate. The black & grey work is smooth; contrast is strong but tasteful; every line is sharp, every curve intentional. During long stretches, he checked I was okay, let me take breaks when needed, kept the atmosphere relaxed (some good music, friendly chat), which helped more than I expected. What really stands out about Adie is not just his technical skill, but his intelligence and deep respect for what he’s creating. He clearly has a strong background—not just in art, but in understanding the meaning behind the imagery. I learned about his interest in Egyptology and theology during our consultation, and it made me trust that the symbols I’d chosen would be treated with care. Aftercare advice was excellent. He explained what to do (and what not to do), how the ink might settle or fade, how certain quirks are natural, etc. Now that the tattoo is healing, it looks even better than I expected—crisp, beautifully saturated, and still holding up strong. Overall, Adie at Renaissance Tattoo is outstanding. If you want an artist who is not only tremendously talented, but also intelligent, committed, communicative, and someone who cares about both the design and your comfort, you’ll be hard pressed to do better. I absolutely love my Egyptian design, and I can’t wait to go back for more. Highly, highly recommend.

   This was my first tattoo so I was quite nervous, not knowing what to expect. Adie was really great throughout, from the design and planning phase (he answered all of my many many questions), to the day I got my tattoo. The process itself was painless- also not what I expected - and Adie was full of chat, keeping me well engaged and entertained for the duration. The studio is very clean and professional, and the artwork is amazing- I’m delighted with the outcome. I’ll definitely be going back!

   My 15 year old daughter had her septum pierced by Adie. He was very professional and put her at ease, he kept the mood light whilst explaining the process and the aftercare in a very clear and concise way. The environment was clean, tidy and edgy which was perfect for both Mum and teenage daughter. I would definitely recommend them.

   I booked a consultation with Adie last week to cover up an old tattoo and booked in for an ~8hr session this week. From start to finish, Adie has been amazing. From the initial consultation and design, just understanding my style and what suits me best. During the tattoo session, he was the best, it was a long sitting but he was understanding if I needed to take a quick break, he made me feel very at home, had some great music and was a great person to talk to. He took the utmost care ensuring the work was hygienic and the standard of the work was absolutely remarkable. Having seen the other artists in the shop working too, they took just as much pride and care in their work and it was a great day all around. 100% recommended, will use again :)

   I took my daughter here to get her ears pierced. Fablous place! Great service, very clean and due care was given. Daughter is very pleased with the result. Lots of time was taken, there was no rush which made my daughter, who was a little bit nervous, feel relaxed. I was allowed to be with my daughter for the piercing and all of our questions were happily answered -- even though I'm sure he had heard them a million times! Good aftercare advice, my daughter followed the simple instructions had no issues.

   Felt very safe with Emily - she gave me my first ever tattoo and really put me at ease, talking me through the design, and making sure it was the size I liked. Very approachable and trustworthy. Loved it so much went back for a second tattoo a couple of months later! Would recommend.

   I got my first ever tattoo done there today and it was the best experience. My tattooist Amanda was very thorough in her explanation of what she was doing and how she was going to do it. I trusted her completely to do the tattoo well and by the end if it, I was so happy with the result. Additionally, the atmosphere of the tattoo studio was also incredibly welcoming and friendly and all the staff were kind and easy to talk to. I would definitely recommend.
