   It was my first time visiting black heart as I was looking for a new place to get my remaining piercings done. I was greeted by a friendly team and the banter between them all made me feel very comfortable and happy that I had chosen to come to this tattoo parlour. Chelsea is so lovely and reassured me and made me comfortable throughout my whole appointment. I was nervous to start off with, given the piercings I was having done, but I am so happy with how they look and I felt like I was in good hands with Chelsea. Will definitely be back and will be recommending this place to my friends.

   If I could give 6 stars I would! I’ve been getting pierced at Black Heart for the last 4 years and I refuse to go anywhere else for my piercings (Chelsea is fab) Additionally I recently had a tattoo done by Scott and he was fantastic.    This is my go to place - everyone in there is super friendly and hilarious! You’ll have a good time and feel like a part of the family by the time you’ve finished a tattoo session. They’re all a massively good laugh, and super talented artists. The piercers know their stuff and get the job done efficiently and quickly, effortlessly! I have my favourites in the shop of course, but everybody is inclusive and friendly, even to first timers; they’re always floating about and being their cute little selves and will often pop over to see what you’re upto, making you feel comfy and welcome! Davey is an absolute legend, insane talent on this man. He was made for this, but is so humble and down to earth. My other faves in the shop were both taught up by him - his apprentice Anne is completely underrated, I recommend you give her some sick custom idea to work on because her flash just shows a fraction of her full potential imo, she did this custom lamb tattoo and put her whole full heart into designing it and SMASHED IT!! Natalia is also a badass. She’s the chillest person and is so focused and brilliant. She was the artist who eased me into the tattoo world and most of my tattoos are by her. Almost a full arm of tattoos are all done throughout Natalia’s tattooing journey over years and years. Without Davey and Natalia, I wouldn’t have gotten more than one or two tattoos because the process of being tattooed wouldn’t be worth the energy. If you are an anxious person (or not) - these guys get it. A good place for a first tattoo, and an awesome place for an enjoyable tattoo experience!

   I came into the black heart in Epsom today and got served by Chelsea. She pierced my ear and it was amazing. She made sure that I was calm and that I was ready for it. I signed the confirmation allowing it. She gave me great help and all the things that I need for my piercing to keep it clean and I paid for a piercing and an earring. Lovely people inside go in again to get a tattoo. My first tattoo got a quote for it as well. Lovely people I recommend it

   I’ve been meaning to make this review for a while… I’ve had a few piercings here and considered myself a good customer. One day I went to get 3 piercings by a lady in there I’d not been pierced by before. (I usually got pierced by a lady called Ti who is lovely and I highly recommend) however I don’t believe in naming and shaming but I was deeply disappointed when my ear was pierced at an incorrect angle! Wouldn’t let me take a picture, instead used her own phone - I assume so I couldn’t show anyone else the monstrosity she made of my ear with this awful angle. She said it was MY choice whether I wanted her to re pierce it and she wanted to give me only the best… I of course said yes as I did not want to leave like that. She re pierced and was fine.. but I was outraged to get charged £100 for 3 piercings, one of which absolutely destroyed my ear, I would’ve expected at least a bit of money off considering the extra pain I endured due to her bad piercing skill. Never been since! If you are looking for a piercer here, I highly reccomend a piercer called Ti, she is amazing but unfortunately I feel very let down by the whole place and will not be returning

   I went in to ask them to look at a dermal piercing I had done elsewhere as it was inflamed. The lady advised it would be better to remove it, which she did. She removed the dermal piercing very well with no problems. The studio was very clean and tidy and everyone was really friendly and welcoming. Very professional and would definitely go back in the future and recommend to others.

   Went to get a piercing done that I had always wanted and finally got the confidence to go and get done to walk in so excited to then be greeted by such miserable people. No happy greeting very stand offish where I actually thought I’ll just leave (very awkward) reception lady just sat on her phone not even knowledge I was there waiting but stuck through due to wanting the piercing so much, to then be seen by the piercer who could not pierced where I wanted and even try to pierced the other side and she still couldn’t do it left me feeling such a lack of confidence and then by saying you might have to find a different place to get pierced, and with extreme pain when she was trying too was unnecessary, which put my mood down for days, and scared to try again. Which I’m soooo happy I left here because the lady in a better shop done it within seconds who caused me no pain at all and she couldn’t understand why this piercer wasn’t able to it’s a blessing in disguise to be honest! I think I would have had lots of problems if going through here. Please do your research and don’t go here!!!

   Sadly my experience with Black Heart has been tarnished after visiting your store this afternoon. I was really excited to get an industrial piercing, sadly I was told I could not have one due to the shape of my ear. I completely understand this was not possible. and accepted this, I was slightly disheartened. However, the lady I spoke to who I later found out was called Ti (who advised me against the industrial piercing) did not give me any other options, she didn’t seem too bothered on advising what I could have done. It was my sister who had the initiative to bring up an ear piercing guide up on her phone. It seems the Ti was more concerned on taking her lunch break on time. The other staff member (Elisha) who was there at the time didn’t even acknowledge us, didn’t even welcome us when we walked in. Surely that is part of your job to offer alternatives and build a relationship with your customers. I have used your parlour time and time before for tattoos and other piercings performed by Alan, who was amazing and would have never allowed me to walk out of the store feeling the way I did today. I walked away feeling like I was an inconvenience, I will not be returning. The parlour has definitely gone downhill since I last visited. Seems like you’re getting more negative reviews with your piercings since Alan has left. Alan was definitely one of a kind who was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about what he does. I will be advising family and friends not to return in future.
