   An amazing little gem! Mel is such a lovely artist, and their work is stunning too. I feel so lucky to have a piece of theirs finally! During the appointment I was made to feel comfortable and heard at all times by Mel. They made the whole experience effortless which was great as I was having a flare up that day. I actually felt better after as I was so relaxed and rested! Really highly recommend. The studio was well laid out, warm and clean. The foyer was comfortable and I was treated nicely by the receptionist. The decor is beautiful with stunning murals all over. It's clear the art of tattooing is appreciated here.

   Absolutely blown away with my tattoo by Roxy. Watching her work was insane!!! Her artistic and fluid approach was jaw dropping. Also the whole process was literally pain free, and I don’t just mean the tattoo… the booking, the info received, the location of studio, the vibe and attitude free staff. An amazing day topped off with the most brilliant piece of art to treasure. 100% will be back.

   I'm from overseas and really wanted a tattoo done during my trip. I was paired up with Varvara and it was an amazing experience! She was able to take my ideas/the doodles I emailed and create a beautiful design from it. While this wasn't my first time getting a tattoo in general, I still really appreciated Varvara walking me through each step and letting me know her next steps. I also found it really considerate of her to try to match up the tattoo I was getting on my left arm to another I had on my right, in terms of similar size and angle so it looked intentional. I hadn't even thought of them mirroring each other but I'm so glad she pointed that out because it looks really good! It's been a few days since my appointment and my tattoo is healing nicely. I can't explain how happy I am with it. The next time I want a tattoo and I'm in London, I will definitely come here. I felt very comfortable and safe the entire time.

   I had my first tattoo with Mel on Monday and what a great experience! They were amazing at putting me at ease, explaining the process, and the quality of their work is just amazing. I have a hard time with social anxiety, making decisions and communicating what's in my head, but Mel was just fantastic and put me right at ease. So passionate and with high standards around the profession. I love my tattoo and it's given me the confidence to think and take a jump at about the bigger one I've been hankering for for a decade. Couldn't recommend more for the quality and experience.

   I had an incredible experience getting my first tattoo at Velvet Underground. From the customer interactions to the artist herself, everything was great. My artist was Claudia who was attentive and took her time explaining everything to me in detail to make sure I was as comfortable as possible. We worked on the design and placement before she started the tattoo. She was meticulous and did an amazing job. I couldn’t be happier and absolutely love my tattoo. I will definitely come again for my next one!

   I had an amazing experience at Velvet Underground. They are an all-female team of tattoo artists who work on custom designs in a range of styles. I was looking for an artist who was adept at fine line/black work/nature designs. I went with a concept in mind and Theresa Vendetta captured exactly what I was hoping for in the design. I went for a consultation beforehand and agreed on the best positioning, then spent a full-day in the studio. I was absolutely thrilled with the result. I went back for a complimentary touch-up in January, once it had fully healed, and now I'm really happy with the outcome. I've had quite a lot of tattoos already, so I'm pretty familiar with the aftercare regime. However, the team provide very detailed guidance on how to look after your tattoo during the healing process. Theresa is an incredibly skilled artist with great attention to detail. I will definitely be going back for more tattoos. She's also incredibly friendly and really good fun, as are the whole team. I really enjoyed my day in the studio. I'd highly recommend exploring the artists at Velvet Underground if you have an idea for a tattoo in mind. Highly recommended!

   I called them on the day to check for a walk in tattoo. They told me to come as they had an empty slot. The studio is beautiful and cosy. Everyone was super nice and helpful. My Artist was Theresa_Vendetta, she was lovely and super professional. She made a lot of stencils for me to choose from. I couldn’t be happier with my tattoo and with the experience.    Incredible service before you are anywhere near the shop. Professional and friendly reception to help you book and email confirmations to remind you. A fully female business through owner to all artists, this should be of no consequence to respectful men but naturally I would imagine that adds a huge layer of comfort for female-identifying clients and I think this is very much a positive. A warm welcome from when you walk through the door, an easy to fill in tattoo form through your own device and when you are in the studio it is spacious and very nicely decorated. To those new to tattoos and have no idea how things are priced you need to factor in a few things, Location: London Reputation and Skill of artists : Incredible, & the Variable is time taken. There will be plenty more factors but I assure you for the Level of service you get here, the price is Perfectly reasonable. Considering your experience is not just the ink going in, but your artist, the welcome and the atmosphere, you are investing in yourself well by using this place. Varvara's Talent and patience seems to be unending and a special mention for her long hours of superb effort to my ongoing project. I've been in over few days and not seen one disappointed face on any other clients coming and going. I don't need to hope your experience here will be as good as mine, because I know it will be!

   Staff are amazing. Friendly and thoughtful. I was tattooed by Emily whose work is fantastic. I had a very loosed idea of what I wanted and and she was able to design something beautiful. It's so delicate and perfect. Worth every penny and I cannot recommend this studio enough

   Had my first tattoo done by Karen, very pleased with it. Very friendly staff, was a bit nervous but Karen made be feel very relaxed. She is a very talented artist. Will definitely be coming back and ask for Karen if I have another tattoo .
