   I took my 12 year old daughter to see Josephine a couple of weeks ago. She’d had a terrible experience when she was 7 years old, her piercing (by gun) was very painful and led to an enormous abscess forming so this time I knew we should try needle piercing. My daughter is quite anxious (although adamant she was having earrings) and Josephine was just brilliant! She took time to explain everything, chatted and kept her calm, explained why the abscess formed, spent time choosing a suitable piercing spot, and the piercing itself was so quick, gentle and painless that my daughter didn’t even flinch. 2 weeks on the ear is clean, no swelling, the excellent aftercare instructions are clearly working. I cannot recommend Jospehine highly enough!

   Josie pierced my rook and was absolutely fantastic! Her knowledge of aftercare is better than I have ever heard! Absolutely pleased with my new piercing and I also got some new jewellery for my nose! It looks super cute and sparkly !!! 10/10 would recommend !

   Had my nipple pierced a couple weeks back and I couldn’t be more happy with it. Josephine was calm , professional and funny.    I went to Josephine for a daith piercing to see if it helps with my migraines. Josephine is extremely knowledgeable and professional. She gave me her honest advice and could make no guarantees that it will make any difference to my headaches which is completely understandable and expected. Josephine was very calm and reassuring throughout the procedure and spotlessly clean in her preparation. I felt in very safe hands and was pleasantly surprised that the piercing wasn’t as painful as I had expected. The aftercare advice was very thorough and helpfully put together to take home. I am so pleased with the result and even if there is no effect on my migraines, I have a lovely hoop piercing. Thank you so much Josephine. ❤️

   I done my lip piercing with Josephine and she was absolutely brilliant! I had to re-done my piercing as the last time I done it in another place in London, they pierced it very bad. So Josephine helped me to re do it and she took lots of time to do it properly and cared a lot about it. I felt very safe and the experience was great in terms of not feeling much pain during the perforation and how good it looks the piercing now. Thank you so much for the time and care!!

   Firstly, I just want to say Josie is a lovely piercing and I’m a little disappointed to have felt the need to write this review, but I really don’t want anyone else to have the same experience I did. I returned to this studio numerous times after Josie pierced my rook because I was concerned about placement, over a year fighting infections and irritation bumps, Josie assured me placement was fine and it would heal. Although she was amazing at seeing me at such short notice to help with dealing with an infection, I got a second opinion from another piercer and she was horrified that she had gone through the flat of my ear rather than the ridge of my rook. It was so misplaced that I could have it repierced immediately. I appreciate everyone makes mistakes, but I wish Josie would’ve owned up to the mistake she made rather than leaving me with a botched piercing for a year. I also experienced issues with the jewellery she used for my lobes and asked for the brand and material. She gave me the material but refused on multiple occasions to tell me the brand on the basis that only piercers can purchase it. I argued I was concerned that another piercer may use the same so needed to know, but I got no reply to this. Attached are photos when it was first pierced, and how it was immediately before removal

   Got a piercing with my friend on Saturday and Josephine was absolutely brilliant! She was super friendly and very professional regarding health and safety, and I felt very at ease with her throughout the appointment. She gave us lots of advice regarding aftercare and seemed very approachable. We were also late for our appointment and she was really accommodating and we didn’t feel rushed at all! Would highly recommended her to anyone, whether it’s your first piercing or your 50th!
