Andrews fine line work is amazing! I travel from Fermanagh to have him tattoo me..he is so talented..also he is friendly and puts you at ease.. can't recommend him enough..all around great guy!
The atmosphere in the studio was incredibly welcoming. Andrew respected my specific colour preferences (cool-toned to suit my skin), encouraged me to make changes to better suit my vision, and was genuinely excited to work on my pieces. I consistently get compliments on both tattoos he’s done, and I never hesitate to recommend him when that happens! Both tattoos healed perfectly and still look brand new after 1.5 years. He also refreshed the colour in an existing tattoo by another artist, giving the 10+ year-old piece new life.
Such a gorgeous studio and great vibe.. nothing intimidating or scary about getting a tattoo here! Andy is the most lovely guy and puts you right at ease. I’ve been twice now and just love his fine line work. Highly recommend ✨
I have been to the studio with Andrew twice now. He is so kind and empathetic and really works hard to make the whole experience feel like a safe one. Great banter and chat to distract you when you’re feeling nervous too! I’m delighted with my tattoos and will definitely return in future.
This was my third time getting tattooed by Andrew and I honestly can’t recommend him enough. Every time I leave with an amazing tattoo. His work is consistently great— the detail, precision, and creativity are next level. But what really sets him apart is his personality. From the moment you walk in, he makes you feel completely at ease. He’s super friendly, easy to talk to, and has a way of making you feel like you’re just catching up with an old friend. Nothing is ever too much trouble, and he genuinely listens to your ideas, then somehow makes them even better. If you’re even remotely thinking about getting a tattoo, do yourself a favor and book in with him. You’ll walk out with incredible art and probably be planning your next visit before the ink has even dried because that's exactly what happened to me the 1st time.
I had a fantastic experience getting my first tattoo with Andy, everyone was very friendly in the studio and I would highly recommend. What I had envisioned he brought into fruition and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
Went to giraffe stairs after doing a fair amount of research, looked at their portfolio on their Instagram account and knew it was the place I was getting my next tattoo. Fast forward around 8 months and I've got around 6 tattoos from Andy. Fantastic advice, amazing artistic thoughts and design processes. If it’s a first tattoo or 10th, you get made to feel as welcome as ever. Professional throughout and an incredibly friendly atmosphere. Would recommend to anyone to go to giraffe stairs.
