Have got 4 tattoos from Gillian at Bold Will Hold over the last year, and it's my favourite space to get work done. Gillian is so welcoming, so friendly, and makes you feel so at ease about tattooing. All of the artists are brilliant at their work, and it's a great environment to get a tattoo at.
David is a master artist, the shop is well-cared-for and well-adorned with loads of incredible flash to choose from. I could not have asked for a better tattoo experience- I live in the USA and would legit travel to Belfast to get work done there again. If it’s your first trad tattoo or your 50th, you can’t go wrong with Bold Will Hold.
I was recently tattooed by Gillian and cannot fault the experience. The shop has an authentic classic tattoo parlour feel over several stories with a range of lovely and talented artists. Gillian’s contact with me prior to the appointment was friendly, helpful and professional. Having been tattooed here before by Dave Jackson, another incredibly talented and lovely traditional artist, I knew to have high expectations. She met and exceeded these in the tattoo she gave me whilst providing a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. The craic was great with other artists and clients in the shared space. Overall, a fantastic example of the artistic talent Bold Will Hold offers.

My husband, sister and I have been going to Dave for our tattoos the last couple of years and wouldn’t go elsewhere now. The quality of work we’ve all had done is incredible, each piece has been completed with such skill and care. The studio is super clean, and both Dave and Emma create such a comfortable and friendly environment. They really put you at ease and we’ve always had a laugh. The quality of the overall experience from these guys is second to none. I cannot recommend this studio enough, we will all definitely be back for more very soon.
Super clean relaxing studio. David is an excellent artist which shows in his tattoos. Great with suggestions and guidance with any of your ideas. So good at putting you at ease and has a friendly manner and great banter. He is quick and precise so no overworking on your skin. First time I had a tattoo with him, I didnt get the post tattoo sting which was a relief! 100 percent recommend ❤
Dave is a fantastic artist who's been tattooing me for a number of years now. His studio is immaculate and he'll always put you at ease whilst you're getting tattooed. He's a great guy who I'd recommend to anyone looking any style of tattoo! The on street parking is also a great bonus! Looking forward to many more pieces in the future!
Dave is an absolutely amazing tattooist, I've been going to him for the past few years, not only is he my tattooist but my friend too and it is great to see his new business flourishing.. You will not be disappointed if you go to him, he puts you at ease and will have a good laugh with you. His work is phenomenal and great value for money. I'll definitely be back for more!
