   Arrived at 12.00pm before panto at 2.00pm 1.40pm still hadn’t had main course! Two other tables in exactly same position. No warning, no explanation, other two groups got up and left. We asked when we might see some food? To be told it would be ‘soon’ sadly not enough time for us to eat and get to start of performance so also had to leave (hungry). Five very disappointed children and four frustrated adults. If they can’t manage a full restaurant either employ more staff or close the upstairs seating.

   We arrived without a reservation and were seated immediately. However, while waiting to be served, we overheard staff members speaking loudly, with one complaining that she was scheduled to finish her shift at 5:00 p.m., despite it being 6:45 p.m. at the time. When our order was taken, we requested a bottle of water and two additional drinks, yet the water was never brought to the table. We ordered two standard pizzas and a portion of dough balls for our meal. After approximately thirty minutes with no food, we inquired about the delay and were abruptly informed that there was only one chef on duty and that the server was unaware of the wait time. Upon receiving our food, we found the pizzas to be undercooked, and despite specifically requesting thin crust, this request was not fulfilled. Our dough balls also did not arrive. When we requested the bill, the server noticed the missing items, reacted unprofessionally, and left to amend the bill. Even after making adjustments, we were initially charged for the thin-crust option that we did not receive; this was only corrected after we pointed it out. Overall, the service was very poor. The restaurant appears to be understaffed, resulting in subpar customer experience. Adequate staffing and improved service standards are necessary to ensure customers receive the attention and quality expected.

   We booked for a lunchtime table. We had a main course and a dessert. I'm physically disabled and an ambulatory walking aid user and needed my wheelchair on the day. Although there weren't any wheelchair accessibility at the moment, they appear to be working on it because of the scaffolding and construction work going on. The staff were so very kind and attentive. They offered to get me a ramp, but my husband and I managed without this. The service was excellent and our food came quickly. It was hot and delicious. The dessert was equally lovely. The staff helped us every step of the way. My husband and I were very impressed with it all, the staff, the food and service, but especially the staff!

   We had a fantastic experience at Pizza Express Northampton! To start, we shared the Hot Honey Dough Balls — absolutely amazing. The sweet dough paired with a subtle kick of heat made them a perfect opener. Highly recommend trying them! For mains, my partner had the La Reine and loved it, while I went for the BBQ Burnt Ends pizza — it was incredible. The flavours were rich and smoky, and I’d definitely order it again. This spot is absolutely on our list for a return visit. A special shoutout to our server, Camelia, who was fantastic from start to finish. She was attentive, friendly, and made sure we were well looked after throughout the meal. Would highly recommend this branch — great food and excellent service!

   We had an absolutely fantastic experience at Pizza Express! Our group of 20, including kids and grandparents, enjoyed a wonderful family dinner on the top floor, where we had privacy and didn’t have to worry about disturbing anyone. The food was exceptionally delicious—everything from the pizza to the mac and cheese and chicken wings was perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The menu had something for everyone, and we loved every bite! To top it off, the cocktails were refreshing, and the Italian red wine was a perfect complement to our meal. The service was excellent, making our gathering even more enjoyable. If you're looking for a great place for a family dinner with amazing food and a comfortable atmosphere, I highly recommend Pizza Express! And the desserts? Absolutely amazing! The cheesecake and meringue cake were simply divine, and the kids were thrilled with their favorite ice cream. The service was excellent, making our gathering even more enjoyable.    We ordered a takeaway this evening for my birthday and one member of staff here truly went out of her way for us, big thank you to Sapphire for sorting our order. In particular after coming close to being run over on the zebra crossing outside and after a bloke reversed into my car. Delicious food too!

   Thanks sapphire for an amazing evening, and the rest of the staff. Went above and beyond expectations for our anniversary. We come here a lot so means a lot to us. asked to sit upstairs and was granted the whole upstairs to ourselves and she even put out candles in the shape of a heart. Food and service 10/10

   Small and cozy compared to the larger Rushden Lakes. Food is at the high standard that Pizza Express retains well. Staff were friendly and attentive. They have a heritage menu which is nice - but not always available. Brilliant decor, and food came out fast. Easy to park within 50 metres walk, around £2.40 for 2 hours from what I remember, unless you park in town centre car park.

   I had booked a table online a few hours earlier on the day and the restaurant did not want to honour this booking originally as they had not printed it off. Pizza Express need to sync its website in line with the restaurants bookings. Although I waited a few minutes and was able to be squeezed in. Food was good as ever. Waiting staff do need more training on how to process eGifts correctly however as I had to wait a while to get this sorted.
