Amazing food - great value & really good portions. Service is super quick. We ate upstairs and the atmosphere was lovely. Think we might have found our new sushi place!

We had an amazing time at Kiko! The staff were fantastic, service was rapid and the food was incredible! It transported us back to Japan with it's atmosphere, décor and the food! Highly recommend!!
We went for the Sushi! The fish was fresh and a good quality. Serving sizes are extremely generous. The service was attentive and friendly. Possibly a little rushed.The dining room is a bit noisy with horigotatsu seating. No traditional hot towels when you sit down. So, wash your hands before you sit down, the toilets are two flights down.There are limited traditional sushi choices and you cannot go off menu. Maybe if you sat at the sushi bar you could, but we sat upstairs. There was no tobiko, hokkigai or sweet ebi. However, they have a large selection of tuna, including otoro. The Unagi is served cold and the Saba was over vinegared in my opinion. The menu has a large assortment of rolls with cooked and “non-Japanese additions”. Beware of the black truffles, the restaurant is keen on them. Not a flavour I associate with sushi. The chefs sashimi platter was excellent. The Hamachi (My favourite) Melted in your mouth.The softshell crab Tamaki was delicious, even though it was missing the cucumber and carrots. We would have enjoyed more variety in the raw fish rolls with fresh veg. With all that being said, we walked away satisfied and happy!
Brilliant. This is one of the best places we have eaten in for sushi, I'd highly recommend trying this place out if you like sushi and are in the area. I booked at short notice and the staff were good enough to accommodate us for that same evening. We ordered only cold dishes as we like that more so than hot. Really very very good. Upstairs dining has a traditional feel to it whereby you are seated not on chairs but on a raised floor with the table set within a cut out of the floor. Loved that. The staff here are excellent friendly and polite just as you'd hope for. I will 100% be booking a table here next time I'm in town.
All of the dishes that I ordered had amazing flavour, although the salmon skin dragon roll wasn't my favourite it still had plenty of umami. Shout out to the Rainbow dragon roll on its variety of fish and excellent flavour. If you book a table ask to sit upstairs as it's very authentic due to the low table seating. If you're on your own or with another then there are seats right infront of the chef's kitchen, a great view of the sushi making. Would come again
Initially booked for a specific time but due to a slow previous customer we got delayed by 20mins, but that wasn't an issue for Kiko who personally called our group to let us know of the correct arrival time. Food was fantastic, Sake cocktails amazing and service attentive. Can strongly recommend the Katsu Don! Will be visiting again in the future.
Popped in here with my sister for lunch today. Oh wow the food! We are veggie and had an absolute feast. Real highlights were the agadashi tofu and the kombu seaweed salad but everything was fresh and so tasty. Service lovely too. They have a really well priced set menu too which seemed very popular.
We were so lucky to try the best sushi in Tunbridge Wells. We loved the prawn spring rolls with jalapenos source, the grilled bream, the beef black Angus steak and the sushi was amazing.
