Always lively... A good place for authentic Welsh food and cuisine. Locally grown farm vegetables, fresh fish, and meat are available. Other than food courts, there are different variety shops.

The biggest indoor market in Wales; it won the accolade for Britain's Best Large Indoor Market in 2024. It caters for both locals and tourists, with over 60 stalls selling fresh local products, including bakeries, fishmongers, butchers and grocers, plus fashion, gifts and jewellery stalls. Plus a wonderful specialist vegan shop (Brontosaurus). You'll also find antiques, card shops, nail bars and electrical and service industries providing clothes and shoe repairs. At the centre of the market is the Market Garden, a comfortable space where you can eat, work, relax and enjoy the atmosphere.

What a great indoor market with a huge variety of stalls. We visited on a Wednesday and it was not quiet but not busy.

The hub for Swansea retail life is all here; the best and biggest permanent indoor market in Wales. Independent local producers offer the freshest and best food to be had; bakers, butchers, fishmongers, grocers and so on. There are also many service industry businesses from clothes and shoe alteration/repair, electronic repairs, key cutting, etc etc. Cafés and card shops, newsagents and nail bars, hardware and electronics. I was here for the annual ‘Make Music Day’ singing with the choir

A lovely spot located in the town center. We had such a lovely time visiting and browsing all the stalls. There was a great variety of clothes, food, and fresh produce. Would recommend everyone take the time to come visit and support all the local businesses!

Lovely indoor market with a variety of shops and excellent local produce. Loved the souvenir shop and the traditional sweet shop, as well as the fantastic bakeries and other food stalls. There was a lovely public seating area I could sit to eat the fresh cockles I bought, and everyone was very friendly and helpful, even giving me directions to the railway station. I definitely would love to visit again next time I get the chance to go to Wales!

A local market, we were quite surprised by the quality of food, veg and meat. We tried welsh cakes, freshly baked and warm that were a fab match for a coffee. We were there with a baby, there were a few baby changing toilets. Pretty specious that was very helpful with our little one. I really recommend this market, we would not have know about it if one of the locals wouldn't kindly introduced that to us.

Still a really good market amazing seafood especially the cockles. It has a nice militarily shop and a old school retro games and toy shop in the corner off the market called console action. Good cafes too. Not much it doesn't have its still the hub of Swansea everyone should make use of it your money is going to real people not teach fat cats.

A huge variety of stalls. Friendly, bright, clean and spacious. The well-appointed open seating area where you can consume your drinks and takeaways from nearby stalls is very much appreciated. Some great local produce, Gower Meat and Fish, Cockles & Lavabread. Fresh fruit & veg; hardware, clothing, jewellery, alterations and mending, hobbies & toys, Christian bookstore, newsagents and cafes aplenty. Everything you want from a market and a great reason for visiting Swansea.
