   Special place in hell for their bbq chicken pizza, couldn't find said bbq and meat smelt like wet dog. Papa John needs to be set out to pasture.

   It is a pity that having quality pizzas they do not take care of the quality of the staff who answer the phone, the man who answered the phone extremely rude and did not care that I told him that he would make a bad comment here on Google, it seems that dad Johns is not taking care of the staff he hires to work in the facilities, extremely rude and arrogant. I hope Papa Johns reads this comment and takes care of the quality of his staff who answer the phone because he will only stop having customers. At the time of receiving my order I think it was the manager who apologized for the way the person answered and I think he is the only kind one there. I hope they teach the other worker a little bit of education.

   Found papa John's has become my favourite over pizza hut. The women "who is the best" is always friendly and ensures your order is correct. Only ever order when she's working as the chap doesn't seem to care and gets the order wrong as doesn't listen properly. Foods always real tasty and hot and delivery is good if you don't order at prime times for traffic. Well worth a visit,I used regularly and would give a 9/10.

   Basically, you need to follow these rules if you use Papa John's Daventry. If you are going in store to order check the following : Has the person taking the order actually listened to what you are saying. A lot of the staff don't seem to be able to use the till, as a result they aren't fully paying arrention to you as a customer. Watch through the little window on the left as your order is being made. 3 times I have had to shout through the glass that they are getting my order wrong. Now for the worst bit. Never place a delivery order, only ever go in. Deliveries are always late. Tonight's was an hour and a half from point of order to delivery. The order was placed at 16:10, so there is no way they were that busy. When it did arrive it was cold - what a surprise!! The driver couldn't be bothered, just saying call the manager. What is the final indication that not all is right is that the management don't seem to be monitoring these reviews and commenting back or taking action to improve.

   Normally pizza is fine no problem but tonight had to wait over an hour for the pizza and missed one of the sides , pizzas were warm not hot like normal and garlic side was over cooked

   Took 2 hours 20mins to arrive! The staff were not interested or willing to support. Got told ‘that’s Papa John’s for you love’ when trying to get some answers. Awful customer service, food when it did arrive was Luke warm. Will never order again.

   Terrible service. Just been charged £3 more on our standard £17.99 order 'because of the wording used'. When I asked why it was more it was because it was put through as a build your own instead of 'delete this and add that' on a listed pizza. Don't have a current menu still weeks after the changeover and are therefore advertising at the wrong prices. Also told 'we don't know if we can accept AmEx as payment, and was not prepared to try over the phone. Absolutely terrible, would score 0, but 1 is as low as it goes. Good bye PJ's, hello Domino's!

   The food is ok, but you really need to change your delivery staff. I’m leaving you this review so you will be aware of what kind of staff you have there. So today, 09/03/2022 i have ordered some food for delivery. When the delivery guy was close to my location, he called me and said that they are calling from funeral services and I asked what does he mean and he said that it’s just a joke and that he is close so if i can come out. I went outside and was waiting for him 5 minutes and when he came he asked why i was that aggressive on the phone, which is not true at all. I don’t think it’s normal for this company to make jokes with their customers especially jokes like this.
