Transport yourself into an authentic feeling Chinese restaurant. Family run restaurant with superb food. The service is not the best. We arrived in a quiet restaurant and had the menus given to us immediately but no offer of any drinks. Ordered our food and had to ask the young waiter for drinks. Very limited English but this just added to the feeling of being in China and not Swansea. The food came fast. Too fast for us. Having said that though, the food is the star of the show. We had spring rolls, dumplings and shredded duck. All were amazing. Chicken in a black bean sauce - the best my wife has ever had and she has this dish all the time!!! King Po Chicken was superb. The egg rice was special. Cannot explain it but it was the tastiest egg rice we have ever had. At the end of the day, you go to a restaurant to have lovely food and this place is top drawer for authentic Chinese food. Put this restaurant on your radar!!!

Nice place. Good service. I did order Rice dishes for take away. Received in 10 minutes faster, thanks. But it's not like Singapore fride rice which I asked. No flavors, feel like egg fried rice. No shrimp, no beef, no chicken on it. Yes there was eggs, chillie peppers and ham on it. Quality of food is low, rice was sticky. Paid £17 for two portions which is too expensive, doesn't matter if food was good. Sorry I'm not buying again from here.

We visited Swansea for a short getaway and ended up coming to this restaurant for dinner three nights in a row. The owner was really warm and welcoming, which made us feel right at home. The star of the menu for us was the sweet and sour aubergine (风味茄子), so delicious that we ordered it every single day. We also really enjoyed the other authentic Chinese dishes:)

Tasty food, great value and the owner is very friendly. We came back the second day. Definitely will come back whenever in Swansea.

The best Chinese food we’ve ever had. We went there accidentally as we were on our way to a Thai restaurant but walked past and thought it looked good. There is a bit of a wait but it’s definitely worth it. Everything we ordered was delicious. Salt and pepper chicken was to die for. Would recommend and will go again when visiting Swansea.

A fantastic Chinese restaurant which specialises in authentic traditional Chinese cooking, unlike a lot of modern Chinese restaurants. After entering it feels like you have been transported to rural China with the decor, and the food is mind blowing, you need to try the Xianjing lamb and the many sweet and sour dishes. Very handy that they have a picture book menu.

We usually go to this mom-and-pop place for hotpot but mixed it up with gong bao chicken, home style tofu, yu xiang eggplant and the sweet bean paste pork in wraps (a street version of Beijing duck)—all excellent and tasting of China. This for me is one of the two best Chinese restaurants in Swansea at the moment. PSA: even though there are helpful pictures on the menu, go with a Chinese speaker.

Overall only okay. The kou sui ji wasnt the best but it isnt bad. The fried pork intestine was alright. The aubergine was good but it looked very different to the picture. Overall is fine but I wouldnt order these again. Customer service was good though, the lady serving us was nice and friendly.

Late lunch on Sunday. Family run small business. Taste is indeed quite good and authentic compared to some Chinese restaurants in London, Man City and Cardiff.
