   . 7am I get there to do a food shop. Got to the tills and none were open. Asked the woman if she could get someone to help as I was in a rush, to be met with there’s no free staff, tell me why there was 4 staff, manager included, watching me scan each item and try balance them on the tiny shelf. Now I’m not one to grumble usually but this took about 20 mins and now I’m stuck in the school run traffic on the ring road.

   One till open this evening At 18 30pm. Three staff stood talking to each other having a good laugh on Self service checkouts. Why are Asda reducing Tills with actual people? If this continues i will shop elsewhere. It takes longer on self check outs when theres problems. Not everyone likes this way of shopping. Especially the elderly Drayton Rd ASDA NORWICH

   ASDA Drayton Road is functional but not a great shopping experience. There are rarely enough small trolleys, and there’s almost always a queue for the self-checkout area that accepts trolleys, which suggests they don’t have enough machines. The store itself feels a bit unloved and definitely behind its rivals in terms of upkeep and atmosphere. On the positive side, you can usually find everything you need, and the staff are helpful, though it feels like they’re just doing the bare minimum. Parking is a real headache, with people queuing both ways as everyone tries to park near the entrance. I tend to use other supermarkets instead, as the experience here is below par.

   I spent the last week browsing Facebook and Gumtree in search of a reasonably priced smart TV for a bedroom. Unfortunately, most of my inquiries for more information or to check if the items were still available either went unanswered or took too long to get a response. Frustrated, I decided to drive to my local Asda, where I found a Roku smart TV for £179, just a little more than some of the basic used options on Gumtree and Facebook. It’s surprising what people like me go through just to save a few pounds! My entire experience at Asda, from leaving my house to returning, took less than 30 minutes, and I also enjoyed the peace of mind that comes with a 12-month warranty.

   Asda Norwich Superstore is located at Drayton High Rd, Norwich NR6 5DT. This supermarket offers maximum of 3 hours free parking. McDonald's is attached inside the supermarket. Foods are in wide range of varieties for selection. Good shopping experience there. Highly recommended to go and shop.

   Perfectly Located in convinient place.Was fully loaded on Saturday evening.Went for little 1 day shopping,end up buying much more than that.I highly recommend,not to forget to scan your Club card as I did,cuz this can save you a lot of bucks .All fruits and vegs was very fresh also.

   The shop is well laid out and easy to find items, however certain staff need training in customer services. I was served at the till by a lady called Eva, who didn't look at me once let alone say hello. Words spoken out of her was, thank you as she handed me the receipt, without looking at me. I would have mentioned this to customer services, but there was a queue with no one at the desk. Clearly they have given up and gone home, Eva was clearly at home in her head and was on automation mode. Simple friendliness and manners go a long way and don't take much to give.

   Came on Sunday early afternoon (2pm) and most shelves were empty! Quite crowded at that time. I didn't need much so raced around the store, grabbing a few things. Got a large 6 pint milk, paid at self-checkout and left it there. I didn't notice until I got home. Dopey staff on the self-checkout tills clearly didn't notice either! I do wonder what happened to it! McDonald's is always very popular here, can take your trolley inside but if there's there's queue, best to order and then put your shopping in the car! Would say their newspapers are un thr wrong place as I only noticed them as I was walking out.

   A decent sized Asda with a large car park, stocking all the usual food and household essentials. Along with plenty of vegetarian and vegan options. It also boasts a rather underwhelming clothes section, along with some electricals and cookware. Lastly, the store features a small McDonald's, should you fancy rounding off your visit with a Big Mac.
