   I've been today at Tesco In Drayton Norfolk and after buying multiple gift cards the activation didn't work, but they still charge me and didn't give another card, I needed to buy it if I want another. Rubish service, they should give a replacement, not to force me buy another one that did the same didn't activate and give me refund that will be processed in a few days. And the lady from customer service saying is not our fault, is probably my fault because I bought gift cards for over £250 from them. Not happy about... I'm sorry that I needed to give one star.. I wanted to give no star.

   While I was in the area, I decided to do a small shop at the store. I was pleasantly surprised by the size of the store upon entering, as it appeared much smaller from the outside. The store had a good ratio of staff to customers, especially considering the busy festive season. There was a well-balanced mix of manned and self-service tills, which allowed me to complete my shopping quickly and efficiently. Although it was busy, I had no trouble finding a parking space in their reasonably sized car park. Overall, it was an enjoyable shopping experience.

   I know some of the staff personally who work at Tesco Drayton, who are friendly, helpful and customer focused, and this review is certainly not aimed at them. I have given ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for their efforts, even though others would give ⭐️ for rude customer experiences such as the one below. There is always someone who ruins everyone else’s efforts and in this instance, it is S***, a female staff member since 2011 (middle aged, light brown medium length hair and glasses) who works on the checkouts. To describe this member of staff as a complete waste of space is an understatement. On too many occasions, she has stood at the end of the aisles talking and prioritising this over customers who need assistance. She is so rude, she’s even taken issue with customers who have interrupted her personal conversations when they needed help. My family and I have also seen her on her mobile phone during the evening where she has pulled up a chair to sit with colleagues at the checkout, presumably when there are no managers around. I’ve complained numerous times and Tesco treats it as a complete joke that she does what she likes. Nothing changes, hence why I decided to post this review. The store managers don’t seem to care. They keep turning a blind eye. But why? Worse still, it is the managers and other staff busy pushing crates and roll cages, and working flat out to re-stock while she brazenly stands around gasbagging and ignoring the customers who need help. If she genuinely thinks there is nothing to do, she could tidy the ends of the aisles or keep the self-service checkouts clean while observing if customers need help. In other words, keep herself busy doing some actual work! At least it would look professional. What a poor value for money she is as an employee. If she doesn’t actually want to do any work, she should stand aside so that those who want a job are given the opportunity.

   Tesco Superstore is located at Fakenham Rd, Drayton, Norwich NR8 6PT. Plenty of car parking spaces with unlimited hours of staying are allowed. Tidy toilet, spacious shopping area. Easy accessible.

   Has a wide variety of products having the main grocery selection covered. Staff are efficient and good humoured, Shout out to Darren whom my kids love. However one niggle I would not recommend going to for a meal deal on your way to work. On numerous occasions I've called in to a ravaged sandwich section that hasn't been fronted early in the morning.

   First visit here, great variety of goods available, reasonable prices, fresh baked bread and lots of choice. Only one small whinge is that the aisles were fairly narrow, my son, who is autistic, felt "hemmed in" by this. Great staff, great store.
