We visited this restaurant for the second time today. The first being a week ago. We arrive and noticed how dirty the tables were straight away. A staff member came over and asked us how many (family of 4), he said just a minute and wiped down 1 table to seat us. The other tables werenβt cleaned until some wanted to sit there. We told him no allergies but we are vegan. He said have you been before, we said yes, he says ok and walks away. We picked a couple of avocado sushi plates of the belt while we order for the menu. But hereβs the issue, there is hardly anything we can order showing on the menu. A stark contrast from the week before. So we called the staff member over and told him and he said that they are out of shiitake mushrooms so there is virtually no vegan dishes available. So, we asked him why didnβt he say when we said that we are vegan? His responseβ¦we didnβt ask! Honestly, it seemed like it was a chore for this guy to have customers come in. We came for a meal but had to pay for the plates of sushi from the belt and left. Not a good experience and I also took a photo of the cutlery when it was given to us, it was filthy.

Walk donβt run for the popcorn shrimp. Not only is this the most addictive thing Iβve ever eaten, the shrimp was almost triple the size of the ones in London Selfridges! I told the waiter how much I loved the sauce and he gave me a tiny pot to take home which is incredibly generous! Love this place. Always go on my own, and never feel lonelyβΊοΈ

We ordered sushi for 2, but its more for 1 person. Definitely not for 2 people, as we 2 ladies shared it and still quite hungry after. We also ordered korean fried chicken and beef teriyaki. The portions are small. The kids ordered prawn bento (quite nice) and chicken teriyaki bento (meh). Overall the food quality was ok, sushi platter was nice but the rest were so so. However the service was not good, it was slow, the staffs were not attentive and seemed did not care. Not friendly.

Great food! Was craving Sushi and this fulfilled my craving for sure! The sushi is great. There are also plenty other options which I had no idea of, such good variety. The popcorn shrimp is also really good. Definitely will be back & recommend. Not halal friendly, however lots of fish and vegetarian options.

Not impressed with the food on today's visit... Ordered salmon firecracker rice and got chicken. Then when I had my replacement for the salmon it was all burnt so sent it back. Offered another plate of the same but I declined as I had already waited 30 minutes for the plate to come out, after chasing it twice. Ordered the salmon for two, it turnt up looking like a 5 year old put it together on the plate. I complained about the appearance but also the rolls was all rice and no salmon as you can see from the photos. The man took it away but then brought it back and said this is how it's meant to be. I laughed as I wasn't prepared to argue, we are a regular to yo sushi and never have I had such poor food. Β£20 for this salmon plate and it's nowhere near worth that for the amount of salmon I actually got. This is what I left after also having a bone in the salmon... I will NOT be recommending Milton Keynes Yo to anyone. No apologies were given either when I explained I was disappointed.

***Edit*** I always eat at sushi places, it's my go to. But I have never been served rotten avocado before!! Also, the portion for the fish was ridiculous. I've never been served something so tiny and inedible. The staff were less than polite, then I see that my food isn't even edible! Seriously disappointed and disgusted. Will not be ordering there again!!!! I've tried to contact the email they have sent me in the comment below, I have yet to receive any response what so ever. I doubt I will get a response at all! Very disappointed.

Great casual restaurant for Japanese style food. Had the "JFC" (Japanese Fried Chicken) Christmas special and loved it! Great amount of food for the money. Also love that they are doing vegan prawn crackers now as I have a shellfish allergy. The way you order food via QR code is convenient and has details of allergens etc which is helpful.

I came because my son told me I had to try it. I tried YO! but I was not impressed. The sushi was not fresh, very small (bite size) and wasn't favorable. My son enjoyed it but I couldn't eat no more than a couple pieces. Don't think I'll be returning again. I'm not sure how old the aushi was but my son got sick after eating the it.

Visited again after quite a few years. We booked a table but were told we couldn't have one as there was just two of us so sat at the bar. Service was okay, not the best, and the cleanliness was okay too, food was very nice as usual. All in all a nice lunch but wouldn't come back soon.

Iβm not a fan of sushi but my daughter is; I was really pleased to find some delicious vegetarian options on the menu. I loved the veggie Yakisoba, pumpkin katsu and Inari taco. Easy to order on the app and then you just wait for your food to arrive on the conveyer belt. The only downside is the food arrives in dribs and drabs rather than all in one go and there was quite a wait between food items so if you wait for everything, what you do have will go cold. I agree with other reviewers that although I enjoyed the food, it was rather overpriced.
