   Family meal Saturday evening. Restaurant had only one other table booked. Music was loud & we had to ask for it to be turned down so we could hear ourselves speak as it was directly overhead. Very dark, gloomy & cave like with only windows in the front section. Been here previously & food, service, menu & quality & quantity of food was much better, hence our return. Fairly sure this restaurant has changed hands since our last visit. Menu was a buffet style & appeared good value. But lacked flavour & wasn't very warm. Despite being empty the service & raport was poor & not a smile amongst the waiting staff. They even had the cheek to add a service charge which we should have asked to be taken off! Emphasis & priority seems to now be on takeaway & delivery service. Wouldn't return again. You can rightfully ask for the service charge to be removed, you do not have to pay it!!

   Very, very good Chinese restaurant! Clean. We were invited here to a birthday party and I wasn't sure because I'm picky. Well, the food was simply superb! The ribs were huge and perfectly seasoned and cooked so the meat fell from the bone. The chicken fried rice could not have been cooked any better. I have tasted better curry sauce, but the rest of it was so good, I can't drop a star. Everyone loved the food and the atmosphere was amiable. My sister had Thai and that was perfect too.Went back with a friend a couple of years later and still clean. Served by Martin, who made our meal even better!

   Visited with family so was seated at a table for 8. Parking quite easy as there is plenty available to the side and no parking charges. We all opted for the Buffet option which is £20.88 each person but the whole table have to have this option or it will not apply. There are plenty of starters to suit and you can pick a few dishes so everyone can share and you can orfer more if you require. We opted for Peking spare ribs, spring rolls, crispy seaweed, chilli dry ribs, squid and sesame prawn toast, all absolutely delicious, especially the peking ribs!! You then get a the mid meal whcih you can order crispy duck, sweet and sour soup , vegetable stir fry, but again the whole table ordered the duck, whcih came enough for the whole table. For the mains, we have szcehuan chicken, sweet and sour chicken, tempura prawns, egg fried rice, beef chow mein, chicken chow mein and chicken satay. All dishes were hot and delicious and everyone was full by the end of the evening. The service was very good and the staff are friendly and helpful. The drinks are average price as you would expect and it was warm inside with a good atmosphere. The decor could do with a freshen up but this did not detract from us all having a good evening at the Yumeijin. A very good chinese restauarant to suit all palates and there is something on the menu for everyone. The main menu can work out a ittle expensive wo would advise you all to go for the buffet optiojn and you can all share and experience all the flavours.

   This was a take away order. Usually we have been more than pleased with the food from you but on 30.6.2024 when we had our usual it was disgusting, actually inedible, the chicken balls were different from the usual ones and weren’t even cooked, the sweet and sour sauce was thin and tasted totally different, the rice wasn’t even the same as normal and the spare ribs were fatty and not cooked like normal, this is the only Chinese we go to as it’s the only one that usually doesn’t make me feel ill but none of it was edible to be honest, we were shocked and rang you only to be fobbed off with we will give you a discount next time (as we didn’t want a replacement then) well we don’t think we will ever want to have another take away from you!

   Lovely service from who I presume the owner/general manager was, a younger looking boy was quite blunt and stand offish but he could’ve been having a bad day. Food was delicious, fresh, quick and well priced, tons of vegan and veggie options and huge portions! Really enjoyed our meal here.

   The staff were outstanding. Food was amazing with very little waiting time. If you are going to order the sea bass allow 45 minutes before serving(it does advise on menu). Recommend to anybody. So many dishes and flavours.

   The service was great and most of the food was nice, some of the food was over salted. With that being said, the portions are generous and would satisfy those with a big appetite or could be shared between two. The bill was a little higher than other places but not completely unreasonable.
