I was born in London but we moved to Milton Keynes in 1974, I was just two years old, so I know the area better than most. I remember when this location was just fields next to the Grand Union Canal. I was (and will be) back and forth to Milton Keynes whilst I arrange my father's funeral sadly. These days I try and stay away. I loathe Milton Keynes and it's gradual decline. Anyway, I found my self within walking distance of this place and I love wings, burgers and milkshakes. My favourite place in the world for all things this, has to be Chicago, Illinois. They're onto something here. What they're doing is admirable but for me the story behind their food is slightly confusing! I did mention this to the owner. A member of his team piped-up...."well, it's sorta-like American innit'. Food was excellent. I did want to eat in...rather than eat in a dreary hotel room....but their restaurant was absolutely bloody freezing. I did mention this to the owner as well. "We're trying" was the response. My response to him...."you're failing". The people who were brave enough to eat in we're all wearing puffer jackets and hoodies.... sitting at their tables trying to get a (broken) fan heater to work. Shame. In hindsight, the 'hoodies' were probably just a reflection of the clientele - rather than the climate.

The food is amazing and the service is beyond expectations. Staff are happy to make recommendations if you are new. Flaming mango tenders will blow your mind.

Heard about 5 Akhis (which means “five brothers”) and made the trip up from London to check it out… And honestly, it was worth it. The burgers are seriously scrumptious! We tried a mix: the Classic, the OG Classic, and the chicken burger called the Blazing Bird. Every one hit the spot. The loaded fries are another level… We went for the Chicken Strips Remix, which comes stacked with fries, cheese sauce and ranch sauce.. Proper comfort food! Prices are decent too: around £13–16 for a burger meal, and £7.99 for loaded fries that are big enough to share. The place itself is pretty small, only seats about 8–10 people max, so it’s worth ordering ahead because it does get busy. Service was really friendly, and you can tell they care about what they’re serving. I’ll definitely be going back! Highly recommend if you’re in the area and want a proper good burger

Excellent burgers, nice chips and friendly service. Thr strips were substantial in size but the honey and garlic sauce was not pleasant. We visited during the very cold period in December and the takeaway was very cold inside despite having air con and a fan heater in there. Given the small size of the premises I couldn't help but feel they were missing a trick by not installing a better heater which would quickly heat up the premises.

We drove from London 1.5 hours to get to this, family of 4. We had high hopes and it DID NOT disappoint. From the moment we entered the brother was very helpful and respectful and explained the menu in detail. We ended up getting 4 different burgers and the remix chips&chicken side and truffle fries. The burgers were phenomenal we even had requested for 1 of the burgers to be cooked well done as we had a pregnant member and they were perfect. Honestly hands down the best burger joint, keep up the hard work!!

My husband and I came here after a long hospital appointment and honestly the food was amazing, absolute perfection. We both got the blazing bird burger, the chicken was so succulent and delicious. Super filling and really well-priced with great flavours, love the chili sauce that comes with the chips! Definitely going to be coming back to try the beef burgers. Extra points for the great Elissa music!

Had the classic beef burger it was massive but tasted amazing lots of flavour and very juicy with every bite you could taste the meat. Also tried the flaming mango strip these were so so yummy loved the sauce on top with bits of onions and pineapple sprinkled on top. So one bite of chicken strip some onions and pineapple was mouthwatering. However was disappointed with the classic fries they were cold and soggy! Overall a good experience! Deffo worth trying!
