Another outstanding meal at Akasaka. This place is a real gift to Wolverton. The food is beautifully made, full of flavour, and the service is exceptional, I especially love the limitless jasmine tea, so comforting on a chilly day! There’s an excellent mix of vegan dishes alongside a core menu of meat/fish-led favourites, making it ideal for group meals where everyone’s tastes are catered for. I highly recommend it for a special occasion or simply because it’s Wednesday. I visited on a Sunday and was genuinely surprised by how quiet it was, especially as it was packed to the rafters when it first opened. If you want brilliant independent restaurants like this to stick around, now’s the time to show them some love. Indie businesses really do need our support.

This is simply the best food that I have ever tried in the Milton Keynes, I dare to say! If you like good quality Japanese food, this is a must-try. The salmon sashimi is so fresh & sweet that it's like straightly from Japan. The soft shell crab is glorious, and we ended up ordering 3 rounds of them. The beef bibimbap is tasty with perfect texture and flavour, which I just can't find anything comparable in the Milton Keynes at all. Overall I'm sure my family will return very soon.

Very good and nice staff. Most importantly, the food is very good and crispy for Tampura

My favourite place for sushi in Milton Keynes. Service is attentive and polite. Bit pricey but the quality is present and you really can taste the difference compared to other sushi places in the area. The sashimi are amazing, just melt in the mouth. Fresh ingredients and food preparation mean that there's a little wait, especially when the place is busy. It's quite a small restaurant, so booking is advised, especially on weekends.

Nice and decent place. Can't remember the servers name but she was excellent she was from Zimbabwe and very friendly. Food was a major disappointment though we still paid for it and didn't make a fuss fuss as it was closing time and they politely told us they will be closing soon. Would I go back for the food... no. Expensive and poor presentation and flavour. It was just a bunch of food mixed and tossed on a plate

Delicious food, very authentic. Bit pricy, but as a one off worth it.

Amazing dinner birthday meal for my friend's 30th. Normally this place is really busy but we managed to get a nice corner table. The waitress was really friendly and gave us some excellent recommendations. They also decorated our table specially for the occasion

Have been several time now to this restaurant along with there other restaurant in CMK. Every time has been great food and service. Sushi is always fantastic and is reasonably priced. Parking if the main road is busy, you can use Tesco car park.

Lovely little place, with a nice, friendly atmosphere and has delicious food. It may not be the best we've had but is well up there, especially for a local. However the service was a bit slow.
