Did deliveries today and ended up here — the bag was miraculously ready, even though it was a huge order. I did accidentally drop one bag that contained mayo, but Sophie was unbelievably patient and calm while juggling another big packing job. She quickly helped replace the damaged items and still managed to stay on top of everything. Thanks to her, I was able to get back on track and complete the delivery without more delay.
A good selection of food and various other goods . The reason for the low rating is and I know the employees who pick the online orders have got to be efficient but this is no reason to be totally IGNORANT and generally not pleasant to customers in store I had one instance of one pushing ahead of me while I was shopping and continued it down the aisle. As a loyal Sainsbury’s customer I shall probably go to Newcastle store . I SHALL NOT GO TO THE STOKE BRANCH AGAIN
Usually good experience compared to lidl. But recently seeing a trend that when we scan things using our necter card.its not showing the necter price, instead its showing its original price. Had two experience when scanning mushrooms,it’s showing it’s original price.hence ,every time i have to take picture of the price tag and show that to those employees when self checkout. Could have improve this
A little disappointing today. Quite a few empty shelves in the fruit and veg section. Toilet facilities in need of some updating. More out of order than working. It is only a matter of months since this shop was closed for a major refurbishment. They clearly didn't spend any money on the toilets.
A good place for one time shopping in and around Stoke on Trent. As at the time of my visit, a lot of stuffs were on discount. With the many varieties they offer. Even having Argos within. And a self checkout service
Thus is an excellent Sainsbury's. Immediately on entering the store, I was impressed with the atmosphere inside. It was bright and airy and well laid out. We found it easy to walk around the different areas and good signage helped us to find what we needed quickly. We didn't need to queue for long to check out as there was lots of tills open. By the main entrance we saw about 5 electric mobility scooters available for disabled customers to use which was excellent. The prices were comparable to other well known supermarkets. A great supermarket.
The tobacco counter is supposed to close at 10pm however it was closed 10 minutes early today and the staff refused to serve me even though I was there before 10pm. Staff are always talking to eachother instead of working so I always have to wait around at the self service checkout when I need assistance. Most of the staff have no customer service skills at all.
Have been shopping here for several years now. Staff are helpful. Store is clean and stocked. Also the customer toilets are clean and well maintained. There is a cafe, bakery, pharmacy and also a patrol station. Also you can get clothes and household equipment as well. There are plenty of parking spaces which is free for 3 hours. Only downside with Sainsbury's is the item prices are higher than the other supermarkets. But quality wise they are very good. Also there is a Argos shop inside the store, which helpful if you want to buy from Argos.
