The place is great and I do recommend to try it. Food is brilliant, flavours authentic. Do recommend chicken teriyaki and prawn udon stir fry. The atmosphere was nice, we came on Wednesday evening and it was busy but not overcrowded. Service was quick and polite. We will definitely come back !

Came here for dinner with my family of 5 and the food was spot on. The service was great only think for me why no 5 stars is the atmosphere was really cold and lacking vibe. It is pricey here but the dishes were amazing but as everyone wanted a bit of eveything it ended up costing £180. So great for special occasions.

We had a great dinner here. The takoyaki was just like we had in Japan - the food was so flavourful. We were lucky to get a table though! We showed up without a booking on a Friday night and the place was full. They managed to squeeze us in between bookings but advised us on Friday or Saturday to book ahead.

Excellent restaurant. They squeezed us in when they were extremely busy even without a booking which was extremely accommodating. The food was served rapidly and very delicious. Had a mix of sushi and noodle dishes and both were presented beautifully and tasted excellent.

Decided to go Japanese after hearing good reports, and boy I'm glad we did. The staff were very welcoming and friendly, the choice of drinks is to a minimum, a few wines, couple of beers, coke and fruit juice, also the green tea. Ordered the starters well in advance of placing main. The salt and pepper chicken was served on a bed of salad which we enjoyed the most. Onto the mains, there was a large selection so all could try, my favourite was the spicy beef ramen, the beef melted in your mouth as it was so tender, for me the heat was just about right for me. So the big question is would I go back? That's a big yes.

Best Japanese restaurant in the Uk that I’ve eaten at (including London). Everything we ordered was delicious, fresh and high quality. Even the wine was good (not a large selection but what we ordered was great and reasonably priced) service was great. Sushi, sashimi, salmon teriyaki (was sizzling), dumplings, all delicious. Service was great as well, friendly and made some great recommendations for us. If you go on a Sunday evening, the pub across the street has live blues music. They offer takeaway and delivery as well and I’m sure that’s just as delicious!

First time here and everything went well. The food was good and the customer service was kind, prompt and respectful. The food was a little under seasoned but overall it was a good experience. I will be returning to try something else soon.

Zushi always seems to be busy for a small restaurant, so I'd recommend booking a table. There is so much to choose from on the menu, from salt & pepper chicken starter, to sushi,.to Korean... But from what I've had so far, it's usually pretty good! The sushi comes quite quickly and are generous cuts, though, the hot food options are also generous in size - It's the perfect place to go if you've got people who want to eat sushi, and people who really don't... It's a great win-win!
