Very, very disappointed with my chicken Kiev Calzone. All I could taste was garlic! Raw pieces of garlic! I couldn’t taste any chicken or ham. Threw most of it away
I can not fault Elgreco in any aspect of their business, even though I regularly use the app to order if I do phone or go into the shop to order I am always greeted with welcoming smiles and lovely customers service, I am treated outstandingly and their knowledge of their individual customers makes the experience very personable. Like I said I generally use the app but when I do visit the shop I am treated individually and they know what I am going to order before I step foot in the shop. When ordering food for delivery it always comes much quicker than the predicted times, always piping hot, fresh and tasty, it is well prepared and looked after in transit, the delivery drivers are always pleasant, friendly and respectful. They are always asking how your days is and wishing you a good evening instead of just throwing the food at you rushing to their next delivery which some other establishments do. If there is any problems they rectify it without any problems or hesitation. They treat they’re customers like you are their only customers going above and beyond, but in reality you’re not, they have a very busy shop and it just shows that it is ran very well, their customers service is outstanding.
Very kind people, we ordered a pizza and a chicken kebab and all of the food was freshly made and came quickly. Pricing is low compared to other takeaways dispite higher quality food. I highly recommend.
£11.50 for a wrap which is considered ‘large’ which is knowingly small, I then request for a sprinkle of cheese after ordering here regularly, and instead of a wrap with added cheese I get a note.. now I’ve been extorted for a wrap which is tiny and I’ve not had customer requirements met. Back to dominos it must be. Thankyou!
Really great food!! Easy to order on their website online and was able to deliver. The kebab meat was really tender. I loved the pizza and the half pound burger! 100% recommend a great cheap local takeaway!
Normally a great service, but today was bad. Two pizzas missing from the order where the one that did turn up was over cooked with that and the chips, all stone cold. Prices have rocketed, making one small pizza, 2 fries and a drink just over £30. Had to ring up and reorder, complaining that the original order was not only missing bits but cold, still had to pay another £12 for two more small pizza's. A small take-away meal came to over £42. Never again. Shame, because in the last they have been brilliant.
Ordered a pizza, was told 45 minute wait, chased after an hour and 10 and was told it was on its way and would be here any second! Waited another 25 minutes called up again, was told my pizza was the next one out, explained I had been told it wass on its way 30 mins ago. “Ohh that order, we’re just waiting for one more pizza for it” oddly enough my pizza was made up of one order so that is code for “we haven’t done it yet”. Poorly run, poor communication - pizza plus for the foreseeable future!
Tried ordering food at 5:50 online, order was never confirmed. Called up and ordered on the phone at 6:05,Was told food would be delivered in 45 minutes to an hour. After an hour and 15 was told they originally said 1 hour to 1 hour 15 (me and my wife have clearly developed issues with our hearing today). They checked with the kitchen and apparently our food is on route, 20 minutes later (I live about 10 minutes max away) I’m still waiting for the food. Imagine the food will have been spat in as I dared to call up and check, will most likely be stone cold too (again). Shame pizza plus is shut on Fridays.
Called for a delivery.. the woman on the phone taking the order appeared to be not listening to me ...when the food finally came she got the order wrong !! ... Food was late.. tasteless hardly hot considering it didn't come far ...over £30 for a kebab n pizza !!! ... chips were well over cooked .. certainly wouldn't recommend unfortunately
We moved to Norfolk five and a half years ago and have used El Greco at least once a week since then and enjoyed their food. However tonight was a total disaster! My Wife ordered a medium chicken wrap with salad but no onion and chilli sauce, I ordered medium Dona kebab all salad and chilli sauce and I was told 15-20 mins, 35 mins later I was given our order. When we arrived home, (a five minute drive), and opened our bag of food we were very disappointed; the chicken wrap fell apart, the chicken was immensely over cooked and burnt and dry, there was onion in the salad and hardly any chilli sauce to be found. My Dona meat was also immensely over cooked and dry to the point that I couldn’t pick it up with a fork because it just crumbled, my pita bread was burnt on the underside and unpalatable and again the chilli sauce was almost undetectable. Our dogs didn’t seem to mind the flaws, but what expensive dog food! I don’t think we will be returning.
