   Why on earth are takeaways/cafés so mediocre in this area?? Order a prawn SALAD, forced to choose a potato or fries with it on app....order potato thinking surely have sense not to put a BOILING potato in a FOIL covered tray with salad.....will be cold new potatoes surely. Nah....got delivered wilted soggy lettuce, bottom of the coleslaw pot by looks of and tough, now luke warm prawns. Disgusting. No where decent to eat in this town

   I bought 3 breakfast here that come with free tea. I drink green and requested this only to be told the tetly green tea is an additional £2.99 for a large that came in a regular cup! I could not select this with our breakfast and the box the bag came from is cheaper than the original tea! Another shop extorting money from people! I won’t be using this place again! £2.99 for a bag and water and the box costs less in Tesco. £2.85 for 50 bags!!

   Wish I had more to say about Cafe Memos, but like majority of the population, especially post covid, most purchases I make are cashless. I honestly find it baffling that businesses in 2023 are operating as cash only. Given the new gym across the road has just opened, I'd expect this cafe may be alot busier if they updated thier operating practises to accept modern day payment methods. I mean for god sake even the market stalls take card. We left unable to make a purchase and had to instead take our business elsewhere.

   I've eaten at Cafe Memo a number of times now. The breakfasts they offer are extremely enjoyable & good value for money. The cafe itself has a pleasant ambience about it, which makes it a nice place to sit & enjoy a well cooked meal. I can't recommend this place highly enough - bring your appetite.
