My son and I come here quite often. He is autistic and loves it. We did tea with Santa today and it was fantastic. Santa was so engaging and friendly there was story time with mother christmas. It was a lovely atmosphere and so great for families and children. Staff are fantastic nothing is too much trouble and are always friendly and kind. They worked so hard today. A pleasure as always. We will be back very soon

MY FAVOURITE RESTAURANT! I love this place SO SO much you do not even understand!! I literally had a free bottle of my favourite sauce (Caribbean) for my birthday!! I recommend this place, you have not lived if you have not been here! Itβs a perfect place for any occasion, the food is cheap and 5-STAR QUALITY! Please, I beg you, if you have not been here, GO HERE! YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT! Also that pic is taken in The Copper Pot

Visited today as a party of seven to celebrate my Mumβs 97th birthday. Everything was just perfect, great food and service. A special mention for the amazing Caroline who really went above and beyond to make our celebration special. She couldnβt do enough for us, even bringing out Mumβs birthday cake and singing her Happy Birthday. Caroline you are an absolute star and deserve a raise! Thank you x

An updated review due a second visit. I'll expand as leaving a 2 star without some context is not fair. The people on shift were great, warm, friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming. The pub itself is a little tired looking but it has a charm - I guess that's a sign of the place being well patronised? I said previously that the food was the issue and that was the case again. Only this time it was worse. Both the burger and the steak were burnt to the point where bits had to be cut away (I hate wasting meat). I'd probably go further and say based on experience and the amount of and type of burning it likely the grill etc is not being cleaned properly. I'll fully admit we didn't say anything at the time simply because we were in a hurry and it had already taken approximately 20 mins for food to arrive. Have tried to include a couple of photos. Chips, onion rings etc were fine. Garlic bread very dry.

Caroline and Abigail were fantastic servers, very kind and welcoming. Food was delicious, good portion sizes, and lovely atmosphere with the outside seating in the sunny weather! Will definitely be coming back.

Lovely evening with friends, large portions, great price and great taste. Loved the offers and that there was a slush puppy machine. The meals at the restaurant we made quickly and the staff we very accommodating

The worst place I have eaten in a long time. Ordered starters and mains, with drinks. Was told coffee machine wasn't working, and was not told of hour plus wait for food. Starters took 25 minutes to come. Barely edible and greasy halloumi fries tastes of old oil. Mains took over an hour, the fish was swimming in grease with black bits all over it. Chips were inedible and were soggy and cold. My partner's breakfast was Luke warm with rubbery bacon and sausage. No check back service or staff available and 8 people in line when queued to complain. While in the queue noticed behind the bar was very dirty, drinks not sealed properly, spillage on the floor. Left before complaint could be made due to poor service time. Will not be returning very expensive waste of time and money.

Good service, great food and very reasonable priced. We had a Starter platter to share, 2 x large mix grills (this comes free with desert or starter), lasagne and side - Mac and cheese. (Free chocolate fudge cake x 2. 2 alcohol drinks, 2 soft drinks total came to Β£52.00

I will not be going back to this place the food was really bad. I have contacted the Head office to complain about how bad it was. I use to go here often no more I will not return. I have had food poison here. I give one more go, yet again worst meals had.

Only good thing was because we had two small dogs with us they sat us separate from everyone else. Everything else was awful even more if covid case's rising I would of expected the place to me more clean. The bathroom floor was very sticky you could hear and feel it sticking to your shoes and when we was given cutlery that was filthy (shown in picture) it had dried old food left on it from previous use. And the wait for meals was appalling nearly a 30 minute to an hour wait for our starters, and the food is false advertised. And then another 30 minute to and hour wait for our mains which was all cold and the breakfast was undercooked completely. And for some reason they make you pay before you get your drinks and meals not when your ready to leave which I don't understand why. We wouldn't go back until a lot of work is done with the kitchen I understand that they may be understaffed in these difficult times but it doesn't mean that food should be coming out undercooked and cold
