Came here for Christmas dinner. Menu is really interesting, especially as we dont eat meat Food was fabulously cooked presented and served, and there was so much of it we took what was left home. We didn't want to waste it. Staff were interested, helpful and not invasive! Can't fault this place apart from the fact its not nearer to where we live.

We came down from the midlands for a long weekend away. Popped in to this place thinking well we Indian food but we obviously enjoy our regular place back home. Rang up on our way to our chalet. Pulled up was greeted with politeness. And food was promt. When we got to our place for the weekend we sat down and really enjoyed our food so reordered on the Sunday night. Again was not disappointed. For all the locals you will not go wrong with this place. 5 stars

First time going there with my dad. Great food, efficient service and fair prices for the excellent quality. Will be coming back again in the future!

Another fantastic meal at Mumtaz. Travelled to south wales from Southampton for a second time and wanted to head to Mumtaz after falling upon it by accident on our first visit in April. Once again really interesting and unique dishes and the staff are beyond friendly! A treat! We will complete the 3 and a half hour journey to come back again soon :)

Nice cosy Indo- Bangla restaurant. Opposite to The Dairy car park ( pay and display). There is also a longstay car park behind the restaurant, also pay and display. Littel busy on sat night. Food was tasty, particularly the Lamb curry with Garlic naan. Mixed grill was good, not great. Little delay in service as it was busy, but they made it up with soft drinks on the house. Big thumbs up

recently had the pleasure of dining at Mumtaz Indian in Swansea, and I have to say, it was an exceptional experience! The food was delicious, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm smile from the staff and the atmosphere was inviting and comfortable. The menu at Mumtaz Indian offers a wide range of dishes, from classic Indian favorites to unique and creative dishes. I ordered the chicken tikka masala and it was one of the best I have ever had. The spices were perfectly balanced and the sauce was rich and creamy. I also tried their samosas as an appetizer and they were crisp and filled with flavorful ingredients. The service at Mumtaz Indian was outstanding. The wait staff was knowledgeable and attentive, ensuring that I had everything I needed throughout my meal. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated and it truly adds to the overall experience. Overall, I would highly recommend Mumtaz Indian to anyone looking for a fantastic Indian dining experience. Whether you're a fan of traditional Indian cuisine or looking to try something new, this restaurant has something for everyone. So if you're in Swansea and looking for a great meal, be sure to check out Mumtaz Indian!

We arrived at this restaurant at about 9pm one other table in use. The reception by the staff was rather cold but we stayed. The food arrived and was luke warm one dish was sent back to be reheated with a very grumpy waiter. On paying the bill I complained about the service and the temperature of the food the reply was it was very cold outside!! What a load of rubbish this used to be a pleasant restaurant but it requires new staff with courteous attitude will not be returning and will advise my local friends to visit Mumbles Tandoori instead.

Very disappointing. As someone who eats and prepares Indian food all the time, there is nothing authentic about the dishes served here. Although I asked for medium spiciness, it was zero spicy. I was very much craving for mild spicy food. It's very expensive compared to what they are serving. According to my sister, the only best thing about the dinner was the warm wet tissue they give us at the end of our meal. The dessert menu was pathetic. No indian desserts except for kulfi or something which didn't interest any of us. Waiters tend to rush us when taking our orders although we were the only ones there. Very cold inside too. First and last time here. Might as well have ordered takeaway from some place. If you want authentic indian food, this isn't the place.

Good service even in a busy Friday night. Food was nice, portions weren’t massive but nobody left hungry.

I payed £100 at this restaurant, the food was presented well but not tasty as it is mentioned on their menus. The waiter was rude and I understand why, because he knew what they serve will not be right for someone who eat at Indian restaurants and make it at home. So in my opinion you need to really drop the prices for the food your serve or start serving good food. Sorry for this review but it is true.
