Absolutely fantastic experience at Dark Horse! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting , a perfect mix of modern and cozy. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome throughout our visit. The food was exceptional , beautifully presented and full of flavour. Every dish was cooked to perfection, with great attention to detail and quality ingredients. The drinks menu was equally impressive, with a great selection of cocktails and wines to complement the meal. Overall, it’s one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in Swansea. Highly recommend Dark Horse for anyone looking for great food, excellent service, and a lovely ambiance. Definitely a place I’ll be coming back to!

Mumbles curry house. Modern room with kitchen at back. Service excellent. Food very good from fairly standard menu. Prices standard. Well recommended.

Starters are tasty and unusual. The main dishes are the usual dishes from any good restaurant but in curry seasoning

Ordered a delivery from Dark Horse. Changed hands a number of times in recent years, but having passed it many times, it looked like a good Indian restaurant with tasty looking dishes. I was wrong. Made a takeaway order and, living only 2 minutes drive away, the forecasted delivery time was 45mins-1hour. After 1.5 hours I called up to see where it was, and they confirmed they hadn’t even started cooking yet…. It arrived around 1 hour 50 mins after being ordered… Bad service aside, I’m writing this review because of how poor the food was. I ordered a range of dishes, none of them were cooked well with the exception of the popadoms (consolation gift) and the plain basmati rice. The main curries (Korma, Butter Chicken, biryani) were tasteless and greasy. The starters (wings & chicken tikka) were equally plan with the added bonus of the wings having a nice soggy batter (added texture). Overall, cost me a lot (not a cheap place) and most of it went in the bin. Advise visitors or locals alike against this place as its aesthetic but no substance (go Rasoi etc….).

This place is a gem! The food is packed with authentic flavors, and the staff are super friendly, making the whole experience so enjoyable. No long waits, plenty of space to sit, and everything is clean and tidy. The menu has so many options, but the veg biryani stands outβ€”served with tomato sauce, it’s absolutely delicious. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Elevating basic "classics" is no mean feat, but the menu at the dark horse has been created and sourced with great care and attention. A simple dish of scrambled egg on toast was bursting with complimenting flavours which resulted in one of the best breakfasts I have ever experienced. Truffle fries, again, were phenomenal, perfectly cooked and seasoned to live long in the memory. Service was superb, with attentive, knowledgeable staff who exulted culinary passion. The setting itself is tastefully decorated, creating a stylish and yet comfortable ambiance.

Called on the off chance last Sunday for drinks. It was buy get one free on the cocktails. Which was excellent as you could mix six match. Tried 4 on the menu which we all delicious. We did enquire about ordering food when we looked at the menu but we were a little too early for service. Upon entering the bar was quiet but by the time we were leaving most tables were occupied. Would definitely visit again to sample the food but mostly for the cocktails. Lovely bar with great staff too. Only took two photos as too busy tasting the cocktails

Lovely breakfast. We went early (9:30am) and it was almost empty. Got a small table by the window. Food was delicious and coffee fantastic.

We walked in for breakfast on a Saturday morning @ 10am and were seated straight away. Great restaurant with ample choices of food, very reasonably priced. I went for the mini egg hot chocolate (to die for), and the benny bun which was equally as delicious. Can't wait to go back!
