   Called in , just wanted a rissole in batter, they said 2 mins which I thought was a bit short to cook, usually it's approximately 8 mins. Anyway broke it open to see a breaded rissole cooked in batter. That's a no no , knew something was not right, very disappointed, I also made this clear to the young lad who served me.

   I don't often get takeaways, but we were feeling a little lazy and fancied some fish and chips. Rossis has always been the go too since I was young and we've been there a few times this year. This time was the last straw as we wanted to give them a chance. First of all, there were 5 people waiting for food, 2 to be served and only 1 young lad in a baseball cap doing everything. I'm not sure if the older man with him was his manager, but when another customer interacted with him, he just said you need to wait for him (the young lad). You can see another young lad in the back just seemingly walking from one side of the doorway to the other. We waited a good 10 minutes and then a young girl with blonde hair strolled in, helped herself to a can of coke and just seemingly sauntered around chatting and socialising with the young lad in the back ignoring baseball cap as he was darting and running from here to everywhere. Baseball cap asked for help with service, the blonde girl ignored him, the gentleman with him poking fish said nothing and the young lad in the back faded into the wallpaper. Eventually the older man asked the blonde girl to help serve. With a huff and a puff she protested with facial contortions and asked what we wanted. It was like dealing with a teenager. The chips were thrown into a polystyrene box, a tiny amount at that. The gravy and curry sauce were poured into pots and then cycloned into some paper. No smile, no enjoy your meal, no hope to see you again. Don't worry, you won't. Let's get some things right. The young lad with the cap did a stand up job. The older guy should know better. The boy in the back needs some serious guidance. The young lady needs to go. This isn't the first we have seen her with a serious attitude.

   Can't believe the attitude from behind the counter, young lad serving spotted that a risole was burnt and asked his manager to prepare a fresh one, manager said serve it anyway!!! This place has gone to the dogs in last few years since the original owners sold it on. Anyone who rates the food in here must have very low standards. Well done to the young lad for spotting and pointing it out to a paying customer, hope they dont sack you

   Popped in for pre-match fish and chips. Nice food. Nice surroundings. Felt it was a bit expensive but I did have the sit in option.

   Absolutely awful jus bought large chips two battered sausages one normal sausage and two rissoles. What absolute rubbish if we hadn’t of took it home I would have come back for a refund… the chips were stale and woody and for a large the portion was wrong as literally not enough to get round 3 people - the battered sausages were chewy. Clearly Rossi’s have new owners but you definitely will run the name into the ground.

   I’ve bought fish and chips for home twice. First time was nice. The second time was awful. The fish was reheated and full of oil. I’ll never go back again.

   It's a chippy with a great menu, but only the regular chippy stuff was available when we went. The service was slow af and ordering was painful, the food was mediocre but the potions were big. I'd go again but only if I really wanted a chippy and really wanted to sit in, the restaurant is nicely decorated and is very clean.

   Great takeaway, cooked fresh and tasted lovely. Would recommend, however eating inside was not a good experience. The tables were dirty and cluttered, staff need to be more proactive in cleaning them as people leave. I can recommend the food but I cannot recommend eating inside.

   The man who served me told me a regular portion of chips was enough for two people and he was right but I was on my own. I don't like being pressured to buy more than I need and it's disrespectful to customers. I've been there a few times and the service has never been very good. Tonight I stated 3 times that I wanted my chips open and I got them wrapped. Could they care any less?
