Our family travelled up to Sheringham, Norfolk from Suffolk on Sunday and we were looking for somewhere to eat for lunch without any booking, which was also dog friendly. Every place we called was fully booked apart from Flavours who managed to get us a table, we ended up having the best meal here of the whole holiday, they also catered for my sister who is vegan. We all agreed we needed to write a review!

To be honest, me and my family didnt expect much from this place, it was a bit of a last resort. But it was our favourite meal of our Norfolk holiday. The roasts were lovely. Im vegan and so I was expecting veg potato and watery gravy as per usual, but instead I had a lovely, cared for meal. The veg was incredible, one of the best roasts I've had. Our dog was well looked after too. The gravy was perfect consistency. The vibes were a little off but very friendly, attentive and lovely staff. Great value for money.

We took a trip over to Horning on a sunny Saturday afternoon and visited Flavours for a late lunch. This is the first time my son (10) and I had visited the restaurant and the first dining experience there for all three of us. We were all very impressed! The inside decor is fab, really warm and welcoming and there is so much space! Plenty of quieter areas to sit if you want to be tucked away or you can choose seating in the hub of the restaurant near the bar or a table outside on the deck overlooking the marina. The service was superb and the staff made our son feel very welcome too. Food was excellent! I had a delicious Smoked Salmon Salad which was huge and full of flavour. Our son opted for a cheese toastie which he loved and my husband had a daily special which got a big thumbs up. The quality and presentation of the dishes was fantastic! We also had a side of chips which were SO good! Our son rarely eats chips but he devoured them! We had coffees afterwards which we took out to the deck in the sunshine. Overall a really enjoyable dining experience, this is a real hidden gem on the Norfolk broads! (It is also worth nothing that there is a large, free car park and they are also dog-friendly. Oh and there is a pool table tucked away towards the back of the restaurant which was a big hit with our son!).

Lovely food, well prepared. The young chef needs more customers to sample his dishes, as they were very good. Unfortunately think the restaurant is in the wrong place, as we thought it was closed, because there were no lights or signs apart from a board on the edge of a large carpark on the edge of the marina, to say it was open.We went twice and saw no lights, so we rang to book a table. We were the only ones in on a friday night, apart from later two more people came in. This restaurant and young chef needs a chance, as he has the skill, flare & presentation to succeed and the food was lovely.

Wasn't expecting much, but is a bit of a hidden gem. Really friendly staff, did the music quiz (£2 per person on the team and the winner tonight took home £70) alot of regulars but all welcoming and up for a laugh. Dogs allowed in too, and lovely looking marina. Will be going back when we visit again :)

A nice surprise! We only popped in for a coffee, and stayed for a roast beef lunch, followed by homemade pavlova. The sun was shining so we sat out on the decking overlooking the marina. just one thing I found that there wasn’t enough vegetables, one carrot and a few sprigs of broccoli-however I know if I had asked the chef would have brought more, but I didn’t want to spoil the atmosphere. Light music and a fresh clean place, with a smiley waitress. We are going to eat there again.

We dined here this evening and could not fault a thing. The sea bream was perfectly cooked, a crispy skin and tender flakes of fish. The starters were generous and delicious and as to the desserts...chocolate brownie with banana and honey ice cream...heavenly. My husband had baked cheesecake, proper cheesecake. The service was excellent and the chef was very appreciative of our positive comments. We will return with our daughter who is vegan and they have assured me they can cater for her.
