Comfortable room and very helpful staff. Good breakfast available in a central location in Mumbles. The hotel is in the centre of an entertainment complex and so it is noisy when party-goers leave at 1:30 AM. No Internet for much of the state although the staff were very good in trying to fix it. Good tea and coffee facilities in the room

Literally perfect. Lovely room, great service, super staff and a delicious breakfast. Location was ideal being next to the Bistrot Pierre where weβd booked dinner (which was excellent though the restaurant in the pub would probably have been as good), parking very close and right next to the seafront promenade for a walk. Weβll be back!

Hotel and staff are fantastic. However the evening meal at the hotel our group rated as fair at best. Myself and Mother in law couldn't have the chicken and steak ordered, as the kitchen had run out of both (both staple meats, should not run out of these). Ended up with steak pie, sorry but nothing special, with fatty pieces in it. Ordered dessert, once anain mine was no longer available. Five of us in the party, all feeling it was a poor experience for a meal. I'm a big believer in everyone has an off day, so give it a go and judge for yourself.

The website for this hotel doesnβt do it justice! Booked for a night whilst my son attended the Welsh Winter Swimming Champs and it was much more luxurious than we were expecting. Amazing rainfall shower, little touches like the mini Welsh cakes and proper milk in a mini bottle and cold water in the fridge were great. The staff were friendly and 11am check out meant we could nip back from an early start at the pool for check out and a rather lovely breakfast of eggs Benedict. Also a beautiful location both at night with the twinkly lights and in the day right on the seafront. Will be back if thereβs another swim event in the future!

I spent two weeks at the Oyster House in Mumbles while volunteering with Surfability UK, and I truly couldnβt have wished for a better place to stay. My room was perfect β spotless, cosy, and incredibly comfortable. I especially loved the bathtub, and the bed was so comfortable that getting up in the morning became a daily challenge! Breakfast was outstanding. The breakfast host and the housekeeping lady were warm, friendly, attentive, and genuinely funny. Every morning my tea and porridge were already waiting for me, and their kindness made me feel as though I were staying with family rather than in a hotel. The food at the Oyster House is excellent as well, and the drinks are wonderfully enjoyable. Alex seemed to know what I needed before I even asked, always ready to help with anything. I will definitely be back β thank you for making my stay unforgettable!

We had a wonderful stay at the Oyster House for 3 nights in March. The hotel rooms are beautiful and the sea views are stunning. The road is behind so the room looks directly out onto the bay. It was beautiful to wake up to sea views in the morning. The rooms are well decorated and tasteful with a light, airy and homely feeling. The double bed is large and comfortable. The shower was hot with great pressure. Breakfast was in the bar below and had a good choice of vegetation options, as well as traditional cooked breakfasts. The veggie fry up was great and croissants were good too. The staff were very friendly and we loved saying hi to them each day and were always greeted with a smile and a short chat. If you're visiting Mumbles and Swansea Bay, then the Oyster House is definitely the best place to stay!

We had a delightful time with our good friends who were visiting the area, the hotel rooms are fabulous over looking the bay and even though it was a late November grey day the fact its was the run up to Christmas everything was sparkling and very pretty, The only slight let down was the conservatory, beautiful inside and perfect in the summer , which is dog friendly but on a chilly November evening in the middle of the week was a slight let down , as it was soulless and cold ...they really should consider better heating or a small dog friendly area in the restaurant. The food we all had steak and it was perfect , lovely wine and the staff super friendly and extremally accommodating. The hotel is right on the promenade with great walks in all directions β¦lots of lovely independent shops and cafes in Mumbles its such a perfect spot. Would we book again..... absolutely, would i recommend yes ... I only gave the four stars due to the conservatory being so cold with our friends and dog. But i would give five being dog friendly in beautiful Mumbles.

Stunning setting. We really enjoyed our stay here. The room was fabulous, tasteful and luxurious. The Oyster House restaurant food is of high quality and delicious. We had dinner and breakfast and kept talking about the taste and quality of the ingredients. Definitely returning. Our new favourite sleepover.

There were some initial issues when we arrived. However, the staff, especially Deborah and Margaret, were excellent to ensure that our 7 day stay was as comfortable as possible. The room was lovely, especially the double bed and bathroom. The breakfast was fantastic! Dinner menu was surprisingly good. Well done Chef! Can't wait to visit again.

I was actually staying the night with my girlfriend . Whilst waiting the check in we had some food. Fair to say it didn't dissapoint ! We tried the oysters and I had the muscles in wine and shallot sauce. My girlfriend had the chicken supreme. The staff were absolutely fantastic helpful and welcoming. It was quite busy and there wasn't waiting on our meals. The food was absolutely stunning and reasonably priced. I would recommend that anyone should try there. If I ever go to Swansea for a night stay I would stay again. The rooms were spotless, modern and the sea view was amazing .
