   The food is fine. The front of house service staff do their job well. The atmosphere is what you generally get in a Witherspoon's. The real issue I had was with the after service following a problem with odering. I visited one Saturday in late September by myself and used the app the order a meal and drink (£10.15) from the table. When I was approach by the service staff member with my drink I was informed that unfortunately their system had double charged my card. I was promised that I would receive my refund after 3 working days. I was of course more that happy with this. I did not receive my refund but thought I would wait because I knew I was going to The Mardy for a meal again on my own the following weekend. Unfortunately again when ordering though the app (£10.35) my card was double charged on my next visit. I had a discussion with the manager who took my name and phone number and said he would sort it out and phone me. I awaited until the following Tuesday but again I received no refund for either of the double charged meals or a phone call. I phoned the pub and had a lengthy discussion with a manager called Chris. He said that he had called the head office and I should recieve a refund within 3 working days. I did receive a refund for the first overcharged meal (£10.15) but not the last one(£10.35). I waited until the following day and phoned the pub again. This time I spoke to a manager called Cory. He blank refused to help made excuse about the company system or procedures and insisted that it was somehow my job to phone his head office to get my money back. This so called manager actually put the phone down on me. Cory needs to take on board that he is a representative of Wetherspoons. Clearly Cory isn't cut out to be a manager.... I still haven't received the money Wetherspoons owes me. This review will stay up until I receive my refund but The Mardy has lost a customer.

   Food and service was fact and friendly. Burger was boiling, sames goes with fries and onion rings. The Ice cream was cold and creamy and the apple crumble tasted like something my nan would make so it was a 10/10 meal. The 3 starts come from the toilet. I prefer to use disabled loos since (a) I have a hidden disability. (b) They are gender neutral and I feel more comfortable alone. The bathroom floor was wet (from urine) and stank of faeces and urine. Only thing I can give bonus points on is the factor that they had working toilet roll and soap.

   Not surprisingly quiet on my visit here on a Saturday afternoon, especially considering how dead the town was. The weather was warm and sunny, so folks had probably headed for ghe beach. I had a Gower Power from the very good Gower Brewery for around £2.

   Had a brilliant experience here. Will most definitely be back again and 100% going. Manager was very friendly and the service was brilliant. Our food was very reasonably priced, large portions and tasted amazing.

   The place is quite nice and cozy. But the food needs improvement. I ordered a curry with rice. The curry was good but the rice was cold, hard and tasteless. The naan bread was rock hard I couldn't even finish it. The wings were great tho.

   Met friends for a breakfast and latte. Very helpful staff and the service was excellent, great food, nicely presented all great quality. All the meals looked really good. Free parking, nicely decorated place. Highly recommended, looking forward to our next meet up.

   Spoons isn’t to everyone’s taste, but the Mardy is clean and often not that busy. Food and drink is the usual Weatherspoons fair.

2. Ganondorf Salad ★★★☆☆

   It's what you'd expect from a Wetherspoon's place. Reasonable food, standard drinks, all for a thoroughly decent price. The site was clean and well organised, the staff friendly and efficient. The toilets were (as is standard for Wetherspoon's) a healthy hike away from the rest of the place. Would come here again for food and a pint.

   Friendly enough, only had a small meal but it was good and served quick. Disappointed with lack of NHS covid QR where other pubs all seem to have it. Poor reception on 4G mobile for ordering via app but didn't try WiFi. Toilets upstairs but clean & tidy.
