Popped in as we were in the area. The car park was busy and the line stretched out the door as it was tea time. With this in mind I popped down the road to pick something up from the local shop, returning within 5 minutes and my wife had been served, the speed of service was fantastic! The food was nice, not outstanding but it was hot and filled a hole and was priced really competitively. Would recommend and return when visiting without any hesitation.

The Fish Inn delivered 38 fish and chip meals for a party. The fish was excellent and they provided sachets of salt and vinegar and each portion came in its own box. The food arrived hot and on time. As it was a special birthday, they also provided a card and bottle of wine, which was a lovely surprise. The staff were friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend for either normal takeaway or catering for a party.

This chip shop has always been decent but what I can't understand is the opening times this place is hardly ever open its closed 4 days a week and not open very long on the three days they are. Stoke holy cross chip shop is open 6 days a week and for longer hours poringland are missing a trick here and could earn so much more money if they actually opened and the car park is huge compared to stoke.

An enjoyable feast of battered sausage and chips. Freshly cooked and crisp (no soggy stuff here). I've had the haddock before and that was both huge and tasty. Good price and very friendly service.

Impressed with sausage and chips, my grandson Seth gave 10 out of 10 The lady was very obliging and friendly. Highly recommended. David and Seth

Very busy chippy, but it's in the middle of nowhere attached to a pub so will do well. I visited based on the lengthy cue, and to be fair the chips were good. The haddock however was tasteless so that was a let down. So deffo recommend the chips, but avoid the haddock, I heard a lot of cod orders whilst queuing so that could be worth a look.

We stopped here on our way home to Norwich, glad we did to be honest! Haddock and Chips twice, cannot fault the food we were served, thank you so much.

A fish and chips were lovely and the curry sauce was a dream. The mushy peas were good as well. The staff were very friendly and chatty even though it was quite busy

The best fish and chip shop. Scampi and chips were amazing. The menu is simple but perfect for a chippy. Staff are friendly. Reasonably priced. Thoroughly enjoyed as always.
