What a cracking little pub! My partner and I called in last night on the off chance and were instantly enchanted by this quant pub set in Pennard Swansea. Ok so to start, plenty of free parking with a couple of car chargers set in the corner on the left as you enter - I didn’t have cause to use these last night but good knowing they are available - suspect this might be of use in the Summer given the pubs proximity to the beaches. We had a seasonal special - chips with a barbecue chicken topping - portion size was huge and the topping tasty. I couldn’t finish mine but the quality was good and well priced - I’ll try and attach a photo. The pub boasts a snooker table, has a great atmosphere with a mix of established clientele and some new faces from what I could gather. One of the locals pulled out a mouth organ and played some Christmas music - adding to the atmosphere. A couple of shandy’s later and it was time to leave. In short, a lovely way to spend a few hours. Food was good, service excellent, and an experience which hope to repeat in the near future.

Have been to the Beaufort Arms a few times. The food is always top notch, excellent quality and very reasonably priced. A relaxing atmosphere that allows you to really unwind. Very helpful and welcoming staff (especially Osian).

Since the new management this pub has been completely turned around. The new landlord Osian, alongside a great team of staff, have made the beaufort my go to local. Such an inviting atmosphere with some top tier food and drinks. Super looking forward to quiz night tonight!

Lovely evening chatting with friends, good atmosphere. The pub has just been taken over by a new landlord and the difference is striking!! I hadn't visited for over a year because it had gone downhill under previous management and am delighted that it has improved so much. Very clean and very friendly.

We visited to celebrate my granddaughter’s birth. There were eight of us in the party and as we all live in the village we anticipated staying for some time, including dinner. Whilst buying our second round we were initially refused service in spite of being decent customers, drinking quietly on the terrace. The landlord eventually agreed to serve that round but no more. We asked why but no explanation was forthcoming. The accessible toilet was dirty, smelly and the loo roll dispenser was empty with the loo rolls placed on the cistern. Not ideal if you are disabled, as I am. The men’s toilet has no lock on the cubicle. The terrace has cigarette ends littered all over it. The disabled parking spots were used by people not displaying blue badges. There was a clearly underage child drinking alcohol openly, in sight of staff. There was a strong smell of weed from some members of staff who also behaved as if they were under the influence. All in all, we felt very unwelcome and in spite of it being our “local” and within walking distance for all of us, we won’t be returning. Marstons should be ashamed of this being one of their pubs.

Not having visited this establishment for at least 3years I was nicely surprised by the atmosphere. Since the new landlady has taken over( it happened to be the first anniversary of her tenancy when I visited) it seems to have regained the friendly local feel it had years ago. The food was excellent and very reasonably priced, service was very good. Definitely worth a visit will return next time I'm in the area.

Very lovely pub that is larger than you think once inside. Many people, some in groups eating. The staff were very pleasant with the pub well presented. A very relaxed and happy atmosphere. Food and drink very reasonably priced. Worth a visit to The Beaufort in Kittle Gower.

Camped overnight here in exchange for dinner and drink. Wine was nice and the food was lovely although the cake was stale but that's the only bad thing. The staff couldn't have been lovelier!! They were amazing! The toilets were spotless! The tables were spotless with an array of different chairs which were super comfy. Prices were very reasonable. There's a small play area for little people out the back and lots of outdoor seating too plus they have live music every Saturday, quiz night every Monday and deals on food and drink every Tuesday. I'd definitely recommend a visit!
