Absolutely shocking services. To ring through and shout closed on the phone. The owners are incredibly rude, I will never spend my money here again when the service is this shocking. Not worth it - DO NOT RECOMMEND.
We chose to have our anniversary meal from here, big mistake from start to finish. The person taking the order was abrupt and not friendly (it was a Tuesday so fairly quiet) I collected and the person barely said two words to me. Now the food… chicken balls were hard, and over cooked, the chow mein tasteless and over cooked, the egg fried rice had a weird taste and over cooked. The sweet and sour sauce and curry sauce were just about ok and finally the prawn crackers were ok. Never again, would rather travel a little further.
I purchased two meals today from here.The K. Prawn chow mein was nice but my sweet and sour H.Kong style chicken was 90% small square pieces of chicken approx. 4/5 mm thick, completely over cooked and tougher than any pulled pork i'd ever tackled. I'm awarding 3 stars on account of the Chow mein. Disappointed !
I’ve never used this before but had a meal from here yesterday. The food was great and very hot on serving. I’ll definitely be going back again.
The house special dish we had was really nice - a good size with plenty of prawns and meat. Thank you!
OMG breaking my own rule here of not usually reviewing till at least three visits. But this was so bad can't stop myself. May try again and edit this appropriately but for now all i shall say is: Do NOT recommend!
Dared to ask for delivery - owner bit my partner’s head off and hung up on him. I had the same experience two weeks ago. Do not use this takeaway unless you like rude impolite staff
Been going here several year and satisfied with food and service; nearly always have the special curry. Last visit unfortunatley was not good, service was rather grumpy, and the usual curry had a horrible taste preventing it being eaten. Didn't go back as didn't want to lose any more of the evening. Will have to venture a bit further next time and try somewhere else.
I've never come across such grumpy and rude owners as these people in all my years. Making the initial telephone order, I was handled very rudely and abruptly and when going to collect the order I was left for 5mins at the counter with no acknowledgement of my presence, despite the kitchen area being open and being able to see both guys cooking. When the meal was finally brought out, all £53 worth, no hello, no smiles & no thank you after paying. Just plain rude.... Once we got back with the food it was very ordinary & nothing special. I've had much better Chinese take-away in numerous other places in Norwich. So after being faced with such rude & ignorant customer service, to then eat a rather bland uninspiring meal, I found it quite ironic to find their take-away menu slipped inside our bags of food. Needless to say, it went straight in the bin, as I would never, ever waste my money on this business again. Why oh why do people start a business dealing with customers face-to-face or over the telephone, if they cannot grasp the basics of human interaction and courtessey???
