   Yesterday was my birthday i had family over we ordered a large order on the website of the Curry Pot and was estimated time for delivery of around 19:20 25 minutes over due we called and there was a problem with our order they had run out of one of the items we accepted thats and ofc this would reduce the cost also they told us they wanted us to pay in cash which seem a little strange as it was an order of just over £80 eventually our order arrived an hour late!! Excuse was stuck in traffic we live like 10 minutes away from the shop! Then the driver delivery guy said our bill was for £88 we argued we ordered online and we had printout of our cost of the order which as i said was just £80 plus a few pence several calls to the shop was made by the driver they argued about the cost even though we showed proof!!! Then we was told its an add on of a service charge the website states no charge for service orders over £15 what con are these people trying on us we refused to budge and eventually they conceded to accept the £80 my husband’s korma looked terrible not the nice coconut milk creamy look you normally get it looked like yellow wallpaper paste!!! This was the first and last time we will be using this shop for our Indian meal

   Had an excellent curry here. Not sure what they do with the onion bhajis but they were fantastic. Curry had loads of flavour. It blew me away, really enjoyed it!

   We ordered a takeaway and after some patience from the man taking our delivery address the order came back hot, perfect and they'd even taken our personal preferences. Well done and what a refreshing change to many lesser takeaways... Definitely recommend!!

   One star lost due to Driver turning up stating there was a delivery charge not communicated on the website despite website saying it delivered free to NR10 for orders >£15, meal originally £18 upped to £22. Payment by cash £20 no longer being enough I pull another £5, Driver awkwardly fumbles around for change, give me whatever you've got I say, continues to fumble 20p, 10p pieces out. Hungry and impatient, keep it I say. Driver delivering on cash payment with no change and £7 total cost of delivery, another star lost. Food was decent (4*), but tarnished by delivery experience.

   After a recent recommendation, we thought we would give Curry Pot another go. Chicken was tough and chewy on both dishes we had. Everything else was good. Might have been bad luck but very over-cooked chicken for us. Curry 'Pot Luck' it seems. Will revert back to Rishi

   Wow. Ordered from The Curry Pot, Taverham for the first time this evening and was very impressed. Food was piping hot, delivered by a lovely, friendly guy, within 20 minutes, contained a couple of complementary items and was absolutely delicious. Can’t wait to order again. Thank you guys.
