Please don't waste your money here! We were visiting Norwich and so excited to try fish and chips. Unfortunately they were full of oil. Even the kids couldn't eat it. No attempt was made to drain the oil it seems.
Friendly staff , quick service, very generous portions sizes, perfectly cooked chips and very good prices compared to others. Can't fault them.
Lovely chefs . They also have a young boy working on the tills who was polite. which is great to see . Food is flawless . I just wish you got more curry sauce ! Thanks trawlers !
Excellent service Excellent food Was served very quickly and and the fish n chips were excellently cooked, even though I do prefer them cooked in beef dripping these tasted good and no after taste of the vegetable oil. Also a very reasonable price compared to other chippies.
Absolutely brilliant value! Lovely cod, lovely haddock... Crispy batter and yet such moist fish. Battered sausages were delicious (that's a make or break for me) chips are the best I have had in 20 years and so many for your money! Absolutely delicious A+++
Fish not dripping in oil, nicely cooked chips are nice and dry. place is spotless and clean. All cooked fresh and the service is nice and friendly. Will be using it from now on .
Proper chippy. Top rated on Google, so we visited on a Saturday evening. Not too busy. Very friendly staff made it a very pleasant experience. Good value food, and we'd all be very happy to visit again. If you're coming from the university to Aldi, go past Aldi entrance and turn right. Well worth it!
Best chippy in Norwich! Fish is so fresh, its gorgeous. Quality of food & it is well drained too, not greasy! A firm favourite in this house :)
So, we've been using Trawlers for some time now and can't recommend them highly enough. There has been no "drop off " since they opened to date in their super friendly greetings and service, spotlessly clean and pleasant shop and frankly the best fish I've had anywhere, often freshly cooked - it's well worth the wait, and yes they do krispies too.
